Amazingly warm place with lovely ambiance! The dishes were delicious & could easily fill a hungry couple on a snowy day. Good balance of baked vegetables, carbs, & tender meat. We finished everything with mint green tea & would be happy to come back for trying more things from the menu 😌View more
Delicious & cozy! We've spent a lot of time in Morocco & this food was so authentic!very friendly & attentive staff. It's a bit of a hole in the wall spot, which is always the best.View more
View more
GREAT food, the tajines & merguez starter were delicious, would definitely come back & highly recommend it. Cozy restaurant, quiet, because it's off the beaten track but undeservedly so.View more
We rarely rate anything so high, but we were so pleasantly surprised by this little gem. After walking the streets looking for something different, we stumbled on the sign on the street for La Maison Marocaine. It was dark already, & traveling down the dark alley to the door was like traveling to a different country. The interior was dimly lit, & offered a very warm & private atmosphere. Our server was very attentive, & made sure we enjoyed the meal & the experience. The Kefta was delicious, & the tea afterwards was wonderful. The portions may have been slightly smaller, but we were left satisfied! Wonderful experience, & we were glad we stumbled across this gem!View more
View more
The food was absolutely delicious - especially the Tajine Royal. & the atmosphere perfectly complimented the experience.View more
Service horrible quasiment discriminatoire.
View more
Please read to the end : Avoid this place at all costs! Worst restaurant you can waste your money & stomach on!! They will seduce you to enter with thier loud middle Eastern songs & you will get trapped! Food is not fresh not even hot! Like it was cooked days before! Soggy & tasteless, I would not feed it to an animal. The quantities of the food are shameful! Less than a spoon of everything for high price ! It is a disgrace! I ordered royal tajin & there is nothing royal about it: two pieces of lamp chops & small chicken thigh the upper piece only not even a full thigh!!! Coscous is soggy & wet. They fill your plate with over cooked unflavored carrots & squash in big chunks so you get full but the meat quantity is extremely small. The Harira soup is just brown water & moroccon salad looked & tasted like rotten. After all this bad food, when I came to pay they automatically put the tip in the machine for them selves over 15% they did not even ask me or give me a choice, the owner looked so rude & was watching me to make sure I don't say a word & pay whatever they charge me silently which I did because I did not want to enter a fight with him & ruin my vacation as he looked very savage & he was just standing in the kitchen not cooking, doing nothing, there is no smell or sign of preparing food which confirms that the food is old & not fresh. The restaurant is dirty & the washroom is filthy. We just entered because on Google maps it says that this restaurant is halal, now I even suspect that its halal because they are just a bunch of thieves who will steal your money for soggy tasteless carrots & squash.
