Dinner menu selections were sparse (five including the special). Food was artistically presented, but sparse in quantity & pretentious in quality. There was more to eat in the cheese & smoked meat plank appetizer (which actually was very good) than in the meal itself) Would not eat there again.View more

Je suis un peu surprise des commentaires car je n'ai pas vraiment apprécié ma visite dans mon cas. Nourriture très ordinaire qui ne justifiait pas le prix selon nous. Pas de très bon service, personnel absent. Très touristique. Le cocktail était bon cependant. Peut-être que c'était une mauvaise soirée... Reste qu'il y aurait place à amélioration pour que ce soit constant si c'est le cas car nous avions l'impression de nous être fait avoir.View more
We dined in the ground floor room, which we loved. A few tables, rustic interior, great atmosphere. Checked out the upper room & didn't like that very much. The menu was very interesting, everything is locally sourced. Great presentation of the food, nice cocktails, & very good tasting food. The most incredible meal during our stay in Quebec City. Fabulous cocktail ("the fall") with great depth & complexity of fresh, local ingredients. Two divine entrees - again fresh & complex with savory & sweet making a dance to be admired & savored with each morsel. Soft bread lightly grilled, several cheeses that included creamy young & crumbly aged with cured meats that were buttery in texture. A shared main dish of bison rib was served on a bed of mashed & a decadent, rich sauce. Bravo! Absolutely delicious food! I had the boar filet mignon & my husband had the bison rib. We were both so happy with our choice. We also had desserts! The portions are small in a nice way. You'll have room for an appetizer & dessert. The service was excellent! It was nice & slow, & no pressure! I would definitely recommend the restaurant & go back!View more

What a wonderful start to our Quebec City vacation! Top highlight was the service. There was a large party in the restaurant, so the staff found us a quiet place to dine. They came around regularly & served our every need. Highlights of the food were the bison special, the regular menu boar, & especially the two different potato sides. We will be recommending BEClub to friends across Canada.
