We were hungover from the night before & just wanted a good burger with some fries.

Honestly one of the better burgers that I have had & the fries are really good too. My partner got the poutine & it was super cold, the cheese curds were hard & clearly taken out of a packet so that really took away from the experience but everything else was solid & couldn't ask for more.

this pub is the perfect spot if you want to hang out with friends over a beer & enjoy live music. But if you're coming for the food, you'll probably be disappointed.

both the regular & vegetarian burgers were pretty average. The veggie burger in particular tasted like it might have been made from a frozen patty.

I ordered the fish & chips & I thought it was mediocre - that is it filled the need for being hungry, but not great by any means. Also had the classic poutine which again unfortunately wasn't so great. I'd come back for beers but definitely not food!

Pub St-Alexandre is everything you would want in an Irish pub. They have a breezy outdoor dining area, as well as two levels of indoor seating & a stage for nightly live music. The menu is extensive for lunch & dinner options & the draught beer selection is quite good. The staff works hard to keep everyone happy & taken care of.

Effectively a North American sports bar with one or two bits of Irish paraphernalia dotted about the place.

It's a bit odd that it neighbours a British bar that's presumably under the same ownership. Given certain historical tensions, it certainly perpetuates that lack of Irish authenticity.

Experience was fine. Plenty of Québécois enjoying the French rugby.
