KWE! Meet with Indigenous Peoples is a free cultural festival in Québec City that invites the public to discover and connect with the 11 Indigenous Nations of Québec. The 2027 edition will take place from June 18 to 20 at Place Jean-Béliveau, bringing together Indigenous artists, artisans, knowledge keepers and speakers for a weekend of cultural discovery, learning and exchange.
Throughout the festival, visitors can experience a diverse program of artistic and musical performances, traditional and contemporary demonstrations, workshops, conferences and discussions. The event offers an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous cultures, histories, traditions, knowledge and contemporary realities while meeting people from different Indigenous communities across Québec.
KWE! also highlights Indigenous creativity and craftsmanship, giving visitors the chance to discover artists and artisans and learn about traditional and contemporary practices. The festival is designed as a welcoming space for dialogue and exchange, encouraging meaningful connections between Indigenous Peoples and the wider public.
With free admission and programming for visitors of all ages, KWE! offers a lively and educational way to celebrate the richness and diversity of Indigenous cultures in Québec. The festival has been held annually since 2017 and has become a major cultural gathering in Québec City.
