Not sure what the hype is about… we came here for breakfast and had a savoury crepe. The filling inside was great, but the crepe tasted like pancake batter that you can buy in the store. Super surprised and disappointed. Coffee also bland. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from. For the price would not recommend.

This place is small and has a nice charm. We had the chicken and beef cheek poutine. Both were good but nothing exceptional with the flavors. The seating is crowded and dinner is spent basically directly next to another couple.

Je ne recommande pas cet endroit. Le service à la clientèle est très mauvais. Selon les horaires affichés sur Google, l'établissement est ouvert jusqu'à 21 h. Je suis arrivé à 20 h, mais on m'a dit qu'ils ne servaient plus de nourriture parce que la cuisine était déjà fermée. Je ne comprends donc pas pourquoi ils indiquent être ouverts jusqu'à 21 h alors qu'ils arrêtent de servir à 20 h. C'est très frustrant, surtout que je suis un touriste et que j'ai payé un Uber pour venir jusqu'ici. Ce qui est annoncé ne correspond pas à la réalité et cela induit les clients en erreur.

I do not recommend this place. The customer service is terrible. According to their Google listing, they are open until 9:00 PM. I arrived at 8:00 PM, but they told me they were no longer serving food because the kitchen was already closed. I don't understand why they advertise that they're open until 9:00 PM if they actually stop serving customers at 8:00 PM. It's very frustrating, especially since I'm a tourist and paid for an Uber to get here. What they advertise does not match reality, and it's misleading to customers.

The space is beautiful, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were wonderfully balanced (almost dangerously good!). The homemade bread and butter were delicious, and I'm glad we ordered them since none of the dishes we chose came with carbs. For example, we ordered the beef tartare and beef tongue, both of which we thought would have been even better with a carb accompaniment. For our main, we had been looking forward to trying the fish of the day, but unfortunately it wasn't available when we visited. Since the restaurant is on the Michelin Guide, we came in with high expectations, so that was a little disappointing. The only other protein option was pork belly, which we weren't in the mood for. Overall, the meal had excellent qualities and we enjoyed the experience!

Attractive restaurant but service somewhat unhelpful and slow. In the first hour we were there we only received the first course. Food was odd. Terrine delicious but accompanied by weirdly floral tasting jam. Salad starter attractive but beets somewhat raw and green sauce off putting. Most of the mains strange: blood sausage, raw scallops, or sweetbreads. Of the ones we ordered, the Silesian dumplings were dry and flavorless. We divided on the other mains, I found the pork dry and difficult to eat and my companions weren't crazy about the halibut. We skipped dessert!

L'un des meilleurs restaurants à Québec pour la qualité de son service, la belle diversité de son menu et, surtout, ses prix accessibles à tous. Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois dans la salle à l'étage pour un mariage. Encore une fois, le personnel du Montego nous a gâtés avec une mise en bouche, nous a offert un service hors pair et nous a même donné accès aux téléviseurs et au système audio pour que nous puissions choisir notre propre musique. Un resto de quartier sans prétention et c'est très agréable. Le menu est typique du Maghreb. Les cuisiniers , serveurs ou serveuses sont gentils. Il suffit d'engager la conversation et les sourires sont au rendez-vous. De plus, comme on amène notre vin ou autre boisson, l'addition est très correcte. J'y vais 6-7 fois par année depuis 15 ans ,en famille ou entre amis.
