I am not sure why the usher was so grumpy. The bartenders were very accommodative but I wouldn't expect them to not have ingredients for 2 out of 7 cocktails on the menu

Beautiful hotel!!! But the restrooms were not clean! For an upscale hotel - I would've expected cleaner facilities. 1608 Bar was very'speak-easy' & beautiful but feel the pricing for small plates & drinks was over priced. All & all was good to see a small portion of this iconic historical hotel.

I was here in April. It is now September & I have been reflecting on this bar since. Everything about it was perfect; from the room, to the cocktails, to the service & even the views. This is my favorite bar in the world. I will go back, from San Francisco, for this bar in this hotel.

We came here for drinks before our dinner reservation at another place. You will have to put your name down & be allowed in staggered, so they don't get bombarded, even if you came exactly at 1600 when they open. It only makes sense. If you are a party of 2 or less, your seating options are limited & probably will not be facing the windows. You will most likely be seated at the bar or the table for two by the books. Party 3 or 4 you have a better chance of getting the windows, if you came early enough. Get their gin & tonics, you won't regret it if you liked gin & tonics. We also got the raw oysters appetizers & they were great!

English I had a very pleasant experience at Bar 1608 especially services provided by Mr. David. He was very understanding, helpful & gave excellent customer service. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the staff 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 is friendly & attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. Bar 1608 is a lovely 😊 place. Away from the hustle & bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There's an ample parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements & the seating arrangement is super comfortable & spacious. 

Pricing 💲 is decent, good 👍 value for money 💰 💵 & the place is more suitable for a group of people. L'atmosphère est chaleureuse & accueillante, & le personnel 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 est sympathique & attentionné, faisant de chaque visite un véritable plaisir. Le Bar 1608 est un endroit charmant 😊. Loin de l'agitation de la ville 🏙️ malgré le fait d'être en ville 🌃. Il y a un grand parking 🅿️ autour du bâtiment. L'endroit dispose d'immenses places assises intérieures & la disposition des places assises est super confortable & spacieuse. Les prix 💲 sont corrects, bon rapport qualité-prix 👍 💰 💵 & l'endroit est plus adapté à un groupe de personnes.

Really cool bar inside the Fairmont in Quebec City. The bartenders & wait staff were extremely friendly, professional & knowledgeable. We patronized the car a couple of times during our stay & it was a pleasure. Only downside is how they control access to the quantity of seats available in the space. There is no standing room & they don't want other guests coming up to your table to chat if there isn't a seat. That's kind of odd, but I somewhat understand why they do it given the limited space they have.
