Overrated Bar & House. Service is ok but not friendly or really helpful. Reception was slow. Room not ready. Bar not open. At the other bar service but not friendly & later in the other bar not friendly as well. We cancelled Dinner in the restaurant Champlain. Don't want to spend a hell lot of money & being disappointed then. There are a lot of other restaurants & bars in town. The whole thing only lives from its status. Won't recommend- rooms a tiny as well for that amount of money.

Superbe soirée passée en bonne compagnie. Le service de Sara au bar était impeccable. Les cocktails signatures sont diversifiés. Le tartare de boeuf est exceptionnel.

This was a fun stop if you wanted to go into the hotel & are not staying there. The drinks were good - but very expensive & not anything exceptional compared to other options in the city. Staff are friendly, but it is definitely like moving the herds through. I think it does well simply because it is in the hotel.

Due to the history of the building & the sheer jaw-dropping splendor of the exterior, it's views & decor inside its worth a visit.

Yes you'll pay a little more for the drinks & food but you don't go there unaware.

Overall it's worth a visit just for what it is versus going there to try Michelin food & innovative cocktails, there are other places in Quebec City that are worth a visit for those elements.

A beautiful outlook with the carefully crafted cocktails you'd expect from a luxury hotel bar. Lydia greeted us with the friendliest smile & made us feel at home right away. Pamela mixed us perfect martinis & was incredibly attentive & friendly despite how buzzing the bar was. The perfect launching off spot for an evening or nightcap after a beautiful day in Quebec!

We visited Bar 1608 a few times during our stay in Quebec City. All the staff were wonderful, the drinks were perfect, & the atmosphere was great. Special shout out to waiter Pierre-Oliver for exceptional service two nights in a row.

Classic legacy hotel bar experience. We went for a night cap & so, so glad we did. The bartenders are excellent at what they do. We enjoyed gin martinis & some of their creative cocktails. My partner says the oysters are delicious.

Magnifique bar avec des cocktails excellents. Les employés au bar offrent un bon service. Toutefois, il n'y a pas de réservation possible & les clients ayant un séjour à l'hôtel ne sont pas priorisés pour se voir une table être attitrée. Il serait pertinent que les clients ayants réservé une chambre à l'hôtel ait la priorité.
