Malheureusement une piètre expérience après avoir reçu de bons commentaires sur ce restaurant.

Nous avons eu un très mauvais service lors de notre visite pour bruncher avec un couple d'amis. Le serveur nous a avoué ne pas connaître le menu & était maladroit dans chacune de ses actions (renversé de l'eau, se bouscule avec les chaises, erreur dans les commandes). Nous avions demandé un chaise haute pour un jeune enfant lors de la réservation & nous nous sommes fait dire que d'autres serveurs s'étaient appropriés les chaises hautes. Nous devions l'avoir lorsqu'elle se libérerait, mais nous avons dû aller la chercher lorsqu'une famille a quitté pour finalement l'avoir.

Lorsque nous avons reçu les mauvais plats du cuisinier, il s'est fâché en expliquant que son serveur était incompétent & qu'il se trompait sans arrêt...

C'était une drôle de scène avec un déjeuner qui était bon, mais dans plus.

Évidemment, une fois n'est pas coutume, mais se fût une expérience négative pour nous.

Au Petit Chalet on Grande-Allée is a charming spot with a spacious outdoor terrace-beautiful setting, but it's the food that really shines. Brunch was delicious, a bit pricey but fair given the prime location. Service was warm & eager to please, though a touch on the slow side. All in all, an excellent place to start the day in Quebec City.

It looked like a fun place to have brunch. The meals being served to others looked great. We got there at 10:30, ordered shortly after & did not get our meal until 11:25. I ordered the avocado bagel with fried eggs on top & my husband ordered the grilled cheese. These were both listed as specialties. My meal was cold…not cool, cold. My husband's was just not to his taste. We were very disappointed.
