Food was average. Presentation was very nice & service was good. This restaurant has a great location close to Old Quebec but the breakfast fare was fairly ordinary. Sausages were probably the highlight, French Toast was basically grilled bread fairly tasteless & caramel sauce on top was not salted not flavourful, the bananas & strawberries were fresh & good. The waffle was not that great either. Cafe latte & smoothies were very good. So overall not a place I would visit again.

Tout était délicieux, le service impeccable, la seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée, ce furent les frites, elles étaient très brûlées, il serait préférable de ne pas les laisser trop longtemps dans l'huile

We were first-time visitors to Quebec & had heard much about Au Petit Chalet, so we made a reservation. We enjoyed the food very much; it was delicious, & the portions were generous. We will definitely be returning.
