The atmosphere was nice, & there were plenty of staff, but unfortunately we had to wait about 40 minutes for our breakfast after ordering. The eggs were cold & partially undercooked, & the potatoes were also cold & soft. The crepe, however, was honestly pretty good.

The staff were polite & friendly, but the long wait & cold food really brought down the overall experience.

Very disappointing experience at Au Petit Chalet.

The food was actually good, but unfortunately, the service really ruined the experience. It was extremely slow & inattentive. No one seemed to properly attend to our table, & despite ordering our food, it took more than an hour just to receive our drinks. There was very little effort or urgency from the staff throughout the experience.

What was especially frustrating was seeing most of the servers on their phones instead of paying attention to customers or checking on tables. We repeatedly felt overlooked & had to wait unnecessarily for basic service.

What made the experience worse was the feeling that we weren't being treated with the same level of attention as other customers. I don't want to make an accusation without knowing the reason, but the way we were treated honestly made me question whether racial bias had anything to do with it.

The food deserves credit, but good food doesn't make up for such poor service. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, attention, & respect. Hopefully, management takes this feedback seriously.

The food was tasty, & the service was also quite good. The restaurant is in a nice location as well.

However, the biggest problem was the cleanliness. The restaurant was extremely dirty & looked poorly maintained. The floor was very dirty, & the area behind the bar was messy & unclean.

What surprised me the most was that many of the servers were wearing dirty clothes, & their shoes were extremely dirty as well. This was not just one person - it was noticeable with almost all of the staff.

The washroom was also very dirty & clearly needed much better cleaning & maintenance.

Overall, the food & service were good, but the lack of cleanliness really affected the whole experience. I hope management pays more attention to hygiene & the overall condition of the restaurant.

The atmosphere is selling it . It's cool. Howvere, as stated in multiple , not 5 star reviews, service is really slow even with not a lot of customers. Took long to get seen, to get asked what i want, to receive the food & to come see me with the check. I stayed ome hours for what it would have been a 20-30 minute stay. Because eating took me 10 minutes.

Speaking of the food, everything was a little overcooled as if they forgotten my food on the oven or something. My omelette & potatoes were very dry & tasteless & tasted burnt.

Très bien situé sur Grande-Allée. Ce restaurant offre une belle sélection de plats québécois populaires. Ils sont très connus pour leurs burgers. Le personnel est très bon & la décoration fait très chalet!

Ate a delicious breakfast on the patio. Great way to start our Quebec city visit. Friendly staff. Lots of great options. Everything was delicious.

Tres bon service , izaac serveur super gentil 10/10 rien a dire supplément il est très beau
