We celebrated New Year's Eve dinner here, & it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the service was impressively fast. Despite not having a reservation, the staff quickly found us a table for two. The chocolat chaud was absolutely spectacular-an indulgent highlight of the evening. We also tried the buffalo poutine, & the buffalo sauce was spot-on-the best I've had in Quebec City! However, the chicken felt like it came from frozen patties, which was a bit of a letdown. We also ordered the deep-fried calamari, which were perfectly crispy, & the accompanying sauce was excellent. The staff's cheerful attitude added to the cozy, welcoming vibe of the place. Overall, it was a memorable way to start the new year!

I really enjoyed the two times we visited. But I liked my meal from the second visit better. The first time I ordered the strawberry flamboyant & was disappointed. The dish looked nothing like the picture & the food was not hot it was lukewarm, like it had been sitting out. The French toast was a bit dry whereas the picture looked like it was served with some kind of glaze or syrup. The food on the second visit was much better. The main area of improvement from both visits is the ability to distinguish between who has a reservation & those who don't. We stood outside ten minutes past our reservation time without being able to notify the hostess that we were there. I was worried that our table would be given away. As for service, it was really slow both times. During the first visit, our server took a while before coming over to us to get our drink orders. Second time, the server forgot my son's orange juice twice. He was half way through his meal before they brought it out (after my second reminder) The biggest area of improvement is service. Food is good & portions are generous.

Love this restaurant. We visited them twice for dinner on our trip during the holidays in December. Nice atmosphere, food is delicious & good service. The place has two floors with good seating areas.
