Food is beyond anything I've ever tried. So unique. So tasty. It's a dining experience, not just a typical restaurant. Courses come out one at a time with a lengthy break in between, so prepare to be there for 2 hrs at least.

Have been trying to get into Battuto for a few years now as it is quite hard to get a reservation. They ended up accommodating us on the patio even without reservation. Food was really good, but we had very high expectations & were unfortunately not blown away. The burrata salad & the bread were excellent & ended up being the best part of the meal. Pastas were good but we have had many great pasta dishes in our travels that were just as good. Service was really friendly & attentive but wait times for food was quite long. This is likely because everything is made from scratch which we appreciate! Our seating was around 3 hours long in total. Location is about a 30 minute walk from Old Quebec - keep that in mind during planning.

Une expérience gastronomique dans un premier temps mais il faut parler aussi du service exemplaire, attentionné & authentique. Tout les plats que nous avons consommé étaient parfait. Regarder les chefs travailler st un pur plaisir & une leçon d'humilité pour quiconque ne respectant pas le travail des gens en restauration. Ça ne nous dérange pas de payer quand c'est bon & plaisant. & se l'était pleinement. Plusieurs endroits à Montréal & à Québec ont baissé les bras devant un menus complexe. Pas eux. Les plats sont variés & travaillés. Assez difficile d'avoir une réservation mais c'est ainsi & je ne m'en formalise point. Je vous souhaite simplement d'y aller.

I was able to grab a seat outdoors since I did not have a reservation. Excellent service, the server was very friendly. The burrata was ok, nothing spectacular (a slice of toasted bread on the side would have been great). The Pasta was delicious, the lemon sauce was outstanding. It felt like a hug on a chilly night (Unfortunately they don't have blankets & I was not prepared for the night to turn cold all of a sudden). They prepare each course one at a time so long wait times between each dish. The almond strawberry tart was ok (shell was very hard). All in all a good experience & I recommend.

Service was excellent! Very personal. The staff answered all questions happily. We sat at the bar & we were able to see all the food being prepared. It was an exceptionally personal & pleasant experience! All the food was fantastic & personally prepared fresh. The steak tartare was the best we had ever had. The gnocchi & spinach ravioli were fresh & uniquely flavored with a special sauce. The olives for the ordeuvre were unique & delicious. The tiramisu was so light & delicious with shaved chocolate on top. The aperol spirtz was a great starter. Nous allons revenir avec nos epouses ou nous memes. Jan & Jack xx

Ça nous a pris trois mois réservés étant donné que leur réservation ouvre pour le mois suivant à tous les derniers samedi du mois & les disponibilités partent dans la minute! Libro n'est définitivement pas fait pour autant d'achalandage. L'expérience en valait cependant vraiment la peine. La bouffe est excellente l'atmosphère est aussi superbe malgré que le restaurant était complet!

One of the best meals we had on our recent vacation to Quebec & Montreal. Really tasty small dishes - note that you will need more than one for a full meal. Friendly wait staff, cozy atmosphere. Also be prepared for a true "slow food" experience. Not that the service is slow, but everything is very unhurried. We spent at least 2 hours there & were the first ones from our seating to leave.

Absolument fantastique. Difficile de réserver, mais un des meilleurs repas de ma vie. Le menu est réfléchi, balancé & parfaitement exécuté. Le service est sympathique & convivial. 10/10
