We did not have reservations but scored seats at the bar. Lucky for us because the service at the bar was amazing! Bartenders were attentive, welcoming & so friendly. Our meals were delicious. Bread soooo good, caprese salad very flavorful, arugula salad light & refreshing, linguine bolognese & spinach ricotta ravioli delicious. Wish we had room for dessert. Atmosphere with subtle red lighting reminded me of what I'd think a speakeasy to be-very nice. Sitting at the bar has its perks as tourists as we met & chatted with a delightful local couple. Highly recommend Bello! Thanks for a memorable experience!

This was our second visit to Bello this week. It's a tradition to frequent this restaurant while in Quebec City. Always attentive & friendly caring about every detail of your experience. The menu is always has something new to offer. Explore their mouth watering treats. You wont be disappointed.

We came here after getting engaged to celebrate our engagement. We were ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by the service! Deavon was SIMPLY AMAZING! So nice, attentive but not over the top. He was so nice & happily answered any questions we had. He provided us with a congratulatory dessert & a glass of champagne for both my fiancé & I. I could not POSSIBLY write a more glowing review!!!! Whether you are celebrating something, or just looking for a lovely Italian spot to grab some DELICIOUS food, do yourself a favor & stop here!! Ambiance, 10/10. Service 100/10. Food, 10/10. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who stops by Quebec City to make a meal here a PRIORITY! Can. Not. Rave. Enough. About this restaurant & its staff, again ESPECIALLY DAEVON! He was so amazing & just an absolute pleasure. I would visit this restaurant again just to be served by him!!!!! Bello Restaurant is a 10/10 establishment & should be raved about more!!!!

This restaurant offers an elevated ambiance with good attentive service. However I wasn't wowed by any of their dishes considering the price point. I'd recommend for the cocktails, I had a Tim Collins & a mimosa but not the food (for reference I got the tartare & carbonara pasta).

My boyfriend & I have been decided that Bello will be our restaurant of choice for every special anniversary! The food is always DELICIOUS, the service very attentive, & the manager is very efficient in ensuring all customers have a wonderful experience. Do yourself a favor & eat at Bello whenever you have the chance, I doubt you will be disappointed.

When I dine solo, my rating often reflects how rhe staff treat solo customers. At Belllo I was given a choice if table or the bar. Some restaurants ignore soli diners or rush them through the meal. Not so at Bello. I felt comfortable. Cassandra was attentive but not intrusive. .
Food wise, excellent French soup & duck salad. The 1/2 portion of salad would have been ample for w to share.
An extensive wine list. . Definitely need z reservations.

Celebrated 35th Anniversary at Bello. The food was superb & service very attentive (thank you, Elza!), & the gift of sparking wine to celebrate our day was a nice surprise & very much appreciated. Ambiance is very reminiscent of Gibby's in Montreal; very nice lighting & exposed stone walls. Lively but not so loud that you can't hear one another. The prices are very reasonable & the location is excellent (5 minute walk from the Chateau Frontenac). Reservations have to be made online, & are necessary. Even though the town was relatively quiet at this time, the restaurant was full, obviously due to the quality of its offerings. We look forward to our next visit & would not hesitate to recommend this excellent restaurant to anyone!
