Review Summary

Casse-croûte Roquette is widely regarded as a vibrant and essential destination on Île d'Orléans, offering a nostalgic and creative atmosphere that blends classic comfort food with modern, high-quality ingredients. Visitors consistently praise the original menu, particularly the gourmet burgers and inventive poutines, alongside the delightful ice cream options that evoke fond memories. While the experience is often described as pricey and guests should expect a wait for orders prepared at the outdoor truck, many feel the unique decor, thematic charm, and overall ambiance justify the cost. Although some feedback points to concerns regarding portion sizes and pricing, the majority of patrons highly recommend the location for its exceptional food, friendly service, and welcoming environment for families.

Everybody loved their food. Expect a wait for your food, since it's cooked first come first serve in the food truck outside. Pricey, but you're paying for the location & the experience.

I have no complaints about this place. It really is amazing, either it is the food or the tables boats or the chalked front way or the games for the kids, this place has so much life. I truly loved that when you order inside the 1800s house where you used to have a cream shop for a long time that they then converted into this place, you just go outside & wait at the food truck for your order. It feels like you're a kid in the 80s again & you are living up your summer afternoons on poutine, running & ice cream.

I took a Sputnik poutine, which is a basic poutine, but others that I came with took the Interplanet Smasher & said it was one of the best burgers they ever had, mostly because of the fried onions & squick cheese combination in the burger. Another took the Moustache poutine & was about to lick the bowl towards the end.
At the end of the meal, some took ice cream, since they kept the machines from the old ice cream place that used to be there, & had their ice cream swirls & their sundaes that made them remember of a more peaceful time.
Don't miss out on this place. It's a must go of the island.

Vraiment cute, vraiment bon.
