You should definitely be proud of yourself. However, I do not recommend their pistachio ice cream flavour.
Charming place - a must stop destination in an otherwise pretty low key island. We were going around the island stopping at key places, mostly deserted, when we came across this - & suddenly there were crowds & a buzz of voices & checkout lines. We started from the restaurant upstairs. Loved my vanilla ice cream, maple syrup, & peanut sundae. Small was large enough. A long espresso balanced the sweetness. A bag of homemade chips added a crunch - the chips were delightfully under salted. The chocolate shop downstairs is everything you'd expect - tons of chocolate & candy in various shapes & flavors. Very helpful & polite staff. Clean everything. Superb decor.
We actually stopped here two different days because the chocolate shop wasn't open the first time we went. It's a great place to get ice cream, & the chocolate sauce topping is very delicious! The location is great, with lots of great areas for seating or you can walk to waterfront across the road. Very picturesque!
A friendly, creative little chocolate shop & café on Île des Orleans.
Their chocolate dipped ice cream alone is enough of a reason to visit Ile d'Orleans! The garden with swinging chairs is the perfect atmosphere to enjoy it in. Oh & they also make a really good espresso that can easily rival specialty coffee shops in town.
We skipped the gelato shop upstairs & went straight down to the chocolate shop. Amazing selection of maple products, candies, & chocolates. Had an amazing maple truffle that I wish I bought a whole set of. Perfect spot for gifts or souvenirs. Such a cute outdoor space also. Limited parking though, but worth spending time & also walking along the river!
This establishment is an exceptional destination for enjoying ice cream during the summer months. It offers a spacious & inviting environment, making it perfect for family outings. The ample space allows for a comfortable & relaxed atmosphere where families can gather, enjoy their treats, & create lasting memories together. One of the standout features of this place is the extensive variety of ice cream flavors available. Whether you have a preference for classic flavors like vanilla & chocolate or more adventurous choices like mint chocolate chip or salted caramel, there is something to satisfy every palate. The quality of the ice cream is top-notch, with rich, creamy textures & delicious, well-balanced flavors. Despite the high quality, the prices remain very reasonable, providing excellent value for money. In addition to its delightful ice cream offerings, the establishment boasts a prime location near the river. This scenic setting enhances the overall experience, offering patrons the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverbank after their treat. The tranquil ambiance of the river creates a perfect backdrop for relaxation & unwinding. Overall, this ice cream shop combines a wonderful selection of flavors, a family-friendly environment, & a picturesque location to create a truly enjoyable summer outing. It's a place where both the young & the young at heart can indulge in delicious ice cream while soaking in the beauty of their surroundings.
This is one of the best ice cream shops I have been to, it had decent prices while also being a top 3 place. The workers were fast, & with me not knowing an ounce of French, they cooperated well. Definitely a must visit when in Quebec or on the island.
We specially went to this shop for chocolates. Impressive variety of chocolates. Bought some chocolates which turn out to be really tasty & had hot chocolate there which was nice too. There were gift items too other than chocolates. Expensive stuff though, can try.
The time for the chocolate shop differs from the cafe so be alert. Both are amazing!
