I'm visiting from Toronto & stopped by this café while on vacation after seeing their great reviews-& they did not disappoint! The atmosphere is cozy, clean, & welcoming. The woman who took our order was polite & genuinely tried to help us customize everything to our liking.

We accidentally ordered three sandwiches that all had mustard in them (none of us are fans!), but the owner personally came over to speak with us once she heard. She was incredibly kind, understanding, & graciously replaced all three sandwiches-no hesitation at all. You don't get that kind of customer service everywhere. She was so well put together, sweet, & clearly cares about her customers.

What a lovely experience. This café is truly a gem! Highly recommend it.

Jolie place, service jovial, mais le café n'est malheureusement pas maitrisé. Le flat white etait en fait un latte. Feedback constructif: pour faire des cafés, utilisez un grain moins torréfié sinon ca goute le mcdo. Pour le lait je crois que former les barista avec des thermomètres pour mousser le lait pour commencer & leur permettre de comprendre comment créer le microfoam serait de mise.

« Microfoam is that fine-textured heated milk, used for making espresso-based coffee drinks like Cappuccino's & Flat White's, particularly used with latte art. Typically created made with the heated steam from a Barista espresso machine, which pumps steam into a pitcher of milk & makes those amazing classic noises we all know.

So the opposite of microfoam is macrofoam (also called dry foam, in contrast to the wet foam of microfoam), which has visibly large bubbles. »
