A l'attention du propriétaire, jeudi passé nous sommes arrête pour souper, j'ai demandé la terrasse il restait seulement la table à pic-nic qui normalement est pour des groupes mais la serveuse nous l'a autorisé avec plaisir, nous avons passé un excellent moment. Nous y sommes retournés ce lundi, pour y manger le boké bol au tofu qui est incroyablement bon, j'ai demandé une table sur la terrasse que l'on m'a refusé alors qu'il y avais de la place, on m'a répondu qu'ils voulaient se garder des places disponibles car ils y avaient des réservations avec préférence sur la terrasse. Nous avons demandé pour la table à pic-nic & on nous a dit que c'était pour les groupes. Une fois assise à l'intérieur nous avons vu l'hôtesse offrir une table à l'intérieur que le couple a refusé, la cliente préférait la terrasse & l'hôtesse lui a donné. Je ne sais pas comment c'est géré mais il semble n'y avoir aucune cohérence dans ce que j'ai vu, j'ai l'impression qu'ont favorise une certaine clientèle. Un me dit qu'il ne réserve pas la terrasse & l'autre me demande avez vous réservé!! J'ai travaillé longtemps en restauration & normalement les terrasses c'est premier arrivé premier servis!

We were led to this restaurant by both its location & it's favorable Google reviews. Another example of diners being too generous with stars here.
A pleasant enough location with attentive staff. The food we ordered was quite highly priced for its substance & presentation. Canned shrimp & lobster salad on a bun for $39. A confit duck leg on a bed of silly potato salad for about the same price.
I began to notice other offerings being served around us that seemed to be of similar character. I guess everything just costs more now.
In the end it's not just the cost though, but the optics of being led on by both the restaurant & Google reviewers that gets to me.

Le repas du soir était OK mais ma cuisse de canard confite était archi cuite. On m'en a apporté une autre mais elle était froide à l'intérieur. Le gâteau au fromage déconstruit est très décevant. Beaucoup de biscuits Graham & quelques noisettes de fromage & quelques fraises avec coulis... Ça ne vaut pas le prix exigé de 16$. Bref, le décor du resto est charmant mais le choix du menu est restreint & le rapport qualité prix décevant.

We went to the restaurant & had craps & beef tartare. The food was amazing. Really amazing seasoning. Perfectly arranged all round great food. Also a great location with a terrace on the riverside. Definitely recommended!
