Beau petit café-pâtisserie ayant une boutique & une salle à manger très invitante avec ses colonnes & ses planches de bois d'origine.

De beaux produits à vendre autant pour une consommation sur place que pour rapporter à la maison. Viennoiserie, pains, produits de boulangerie & une sélection de bons cafés sont disponibles sur place.

Dans la boutique, des confits, des confitures, des marinades & même une sélections de plats ou de produits de boulangerie à faire cuire, en mode congelé, sont disponibles.

Juste devant une jetée (derrière l'église) parfait pour pêcher.

A total gem found on Ile-d Orleanss at La Midinette! A small bakery- light fare spot across from the St Laurence river-
Friendly staff helped with our language barrier- we had a scrumptious jalapeno scone (I don't even like'dry' scones- this one was amazing!)
A yummy spinach quiche served with a salad lightly dressed in some amazing dressing- a bowl of butternut soup tasted like velvet- my husband & I shared all this & we perfectly satiated!
Totally worth the stop!!

J'ai adoré ! Un accueil chaleureux, un cadre magnifique & une cuisine délicieuse… que demander de plus ? Le latté avoine à l'érable était excellent, le croissant au saumon parfaitement équilibré, & le croissant nature tout simplement délicieux. Bref, the place to be sur l'île d'Orléans ! Merci pour tout !

Excellent bakery with lots of pastry options to choose from. I had the almond croissant, jalapeno prosciutto scone, blackcurrant lemon scone & the cheese stick. Everything was tasty & had great flavors.

There is nice seating inside as well as long of benches & tables outside to enjoy. Must stop by this place if you are touring the Île d'Orléans!

We stopped coffee while driving around l'île d'Orléans. It is in a beautiful old building close to the water. The decor inside is warm & inviting. The coffee was delicious. My only'complaint' is that they described midinettes as frivolous young women, they were seamstresses in France in the 1890's.

Lovely place with a large lawn - eat-in or enjoy on the porch of this old transformed presbytery house on L'Isle d'Orléans across from Quebec City. There is plenty of choice in bakery items, coffee or teas, & very friendly bilingual staff. A must stop place to visit while touring the island!
