I miss La Boulange. It was a really nice cozy boulangerie. This feels like an overpriced tourist trap meant for the Montreal tiktok/instagram crowd, featuring overwhelming inauthentic decor & overpriced food. Last time I went I didn't hear anyone speak French & everyone was taking selfies. The service was good though. Very polite, very friendly.

Lovely place with a large lawn - eat-in or enjoy on the porch of this old transformed presbytery house on L'Isle d'Orléans across from Quebec City. There is plenty of choice in bakery items, coffee or teas, & very friendly bilingual staff. A must stop place to visit while touring the island!

On avait hâte de manger chez La Midinette mais nous en sommes ressortis bien déçu. Tout d'abord l'accueil a été très désagréable & ensuite le service déplorable. Nous avons mangé sur place, donné un pourboire de 15% pour au final devoir aller chercher nos repas. Pas de souci nous nous sommes dits (ca se fait souvent dans certains restaurants) sauf que toutes les personnes autour de nous ont été servis à table & avec le sourire! & la pizza au prosciutto qui est en fait du simple jambon blanc (mais au prix du prosciutto). La moindre des choses c'est de prévenir avant que la personne commande. Pourquoi une différence de traitement? Même les enfants n'ont pas compris pourquoi les deux serveuses étaient gentilles avec tout le monde sauf avec nous. Alors oui la nourriture était bonne mais nous ne reviendrons pas.
