La Piazzetta St. John is located in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean Baptiste, right next to the oldest grocery store in North America is the Grocery Moisan. St John Street in the Faubourg part, is full of small artisan shops of all kinds, such as, among others, Exile shop where we find the creations of Quebec designer clothing and Choco-Musée Erico shop, artisan chocolate.

La Piazzetta St. John offers a warm and trendy in a "bistro chic" decor style. It also is well suited for business lunch meetings as friendly and dating evening. Moreover, its friendly terrace allows to be in the front row, right in the heart of summer activities Faubourg St-Jean-Baptiste.

I usually never leave reviews but just had to with this place. We just left & were blown away. Great recommendations, extremely friendly waiter. We enjoyed table d'hote with the fondue & the dip followed by two pizzas & then dessert of the tiramisu eclair & the pear cheesecake. We've already said on our return to the city we will be back to keep trying out the menu. Only negative thing is….. we didn't bring a cooler to bring bake some of their frozen items to enjoy back home! Also … we couldn't stop eating. Gluttons!

This was our first visit ever to Quebec (we are from Seattle, so a long way). La Piazzetta Saint-Jean was a perfect first dinner in this charming city. Our waiter, Thomas, made ys feel at home among all the other diners. We had a vegetarian-delux pizza, dill-salmon salad, & an order of brushetta. All excellent. I usually am not a salad-guy, but the dill-salmon salad was very memorable. Plus I started with a perfect dry gin martini & we each had pleasant merlots from their nice wine list. We would come back for sure. Merci, Thomas & all the crew at La Piazzetta Saint-Jean!!

My husband & I sat down for dinner at Piazzetta, a beautiful & cozy Italian restaurant in the cobbled streets of Rue St Jean QC, with our dog Newton. The restaurant is beautiful, with a cozy outdoor seating area. The staff is warm & friendly. The food was delicious. We got the Vegetarian pizza & the spaghetti bolognese (Vegan), both of which were flavorful. We finished it up with the Creme Brûlée dessert with the white chocolate. A delectable finish to a wholesome meal! Our dog got a lot of love from the staff & the other restaurant customers seated beside us.

Amazing food & wonderful service. Came here around dinner time, place had a lovely ambience to it. Let us sit where we wanted so had a nice view of downtown Quebec City. Server was fantastic - even recommended a beer from a local brewery that was great! Pizza was delicious. If I'm ever in Quebec City again, this is a place I'll definitely visit.
