About
La Piazzetta St. Joseph is located since 2002 in the heart of the new district St-Roch, one of the oldest suburbs of Québec, which is now in full swing. The symbol of rebirth is the garden of St-Roch, a green oasis in the heart of the neighborhood.
Close to the Piazzetta we find the Theatre of Bordered, the Imperial Theatre, the restaurant and theater Le Cercle and the new auditorium of the Church of Our Lady of Jacques-Cartier also called the church bell tower examined.
In recent years, this area attracts many new technology companies. Young professionals who work have in turn attracted bars, restaurants, cafes, fine bakeries, and even a few luxury boutiques including: Banjo and Philippe Dubuc and delis, chocolate, etc.
We also saw settle the School of Visual Arts of University Laval, Télé-Université and the headquarters of the University of Quebec and the economic and urban development center of the city of Quebec.
This dynamic sector of the capital has become a new tourist destination on the sidelines of Old Quebec. The cultural, commercial and artistic is an undeniable strength of this district and offers an original experience. Just for Laughs Festival in summer the biggest Christmas tree in North America winter, the area is full throughout the year of the most original activities.
Visit the Piazzetta St. Joseph is also to experience the magnificent revival of a neighborhood whose architecture reflects both its age and its modernity.
