We were visiting Quebec from California & almost did not come here. But we are SO glad we did! It was honestly one of our favorite meals from our whole trip (& we had some fine dining experiences too) that we can't stop talking about. It also appears to be a local favorite spot - we sat at the bar & had a wonderful time chatting with our bartender & some locals. Best bites included the friend polenta, foie gras stuffed dates & pasta with a lamb white bolognese. Whenever we return to Quebec City we will definitely be going back!

We've been eating at Quebec's finest all week. This was the best. The food was wonderful. We shared an exquisite escargot dish & we both had the salmon. Best I think I've ever had. Service was spot on & pleasant. Get out of the old city & try this one. You won't be disappointed.

We chose this restuarant based on a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service friendly & atmosphere was nice. We were visitors from California & staying in the old section but we just hopped on the bus (great system) & walked to the restaurant. We'd definitely would eat there again if we came back to Quebec.

J'ai eu l'occasion de manger à La Planque à plusieurs reprises, & chaque visite est un véritable plaisir. La nourriture est toujours excellente, & le menu, qui évolue régulièrement, me permet de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs à chaque occasion.

Je recommande cet établissement à tous ceux qui n'y sont jamais allés. Le service est courtois, professionnel & offert avec une simplicité très appréciée. Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe, & plus particulièrement aux cuisiniers, qui réussissent à surprendre & à ravir leurs clients visite après visite.
