The real La Planque, by cons, is located underground: in our basement is provided a soundproof room that allows you to hide you, bluntly. La Planque was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was exceptional - thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, & full of flavor. Every dish felt elevated without being pretentious.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, & attentive throughout the evening. They were also completely fluent in English, which made the experience seamless & comfortable.
The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance - upscale yet relaxed, lively but not overwhelming. It's the kind of place where you can truly enjoy a great meal & conversation.
Highly recommend if you're in Quebec City - we'll absolutely be back.
Le personnel est extrêmement poli & attentionné. Nous avons tout de suite ressenti un grand professionnalisme.
Même si nous sommes arrivés un peu en retard pour notre réservation, ils ont été très compréhensifs & nous ont gentiment accompagnés à notre table.
Malgré le fait que le restaurant semblait très occupé, les plats sont arrivés dans un délai tout à fait raisonnable. La qualité & le goût étaient excellents.
Le personnel est venu régulièrement s'assurer que tout allait bien & que nous ne manquions de rien. Le service était impeccable du début à la fin.
C'est sans doute l'une des expériences les plus agréables que j'aie vécues à Québec.
Au moment de payer, je n'ai pas hésité à choisir l'option avec le pourboire le plus élevé.
Je recommande vivement ce restaurant!

Ca faisait quelques années qu'on voulait essayer la cuisine de La Planque & nous n'avons vraiment pas été déçus! Sympathique accueil, chaleureux conseils, plats à se rouler par terre, belle carte de cocktails & de vins, on aurait pas pu mieux tomber. Méga coup de coeur pour les entrées de courge & de chou mais surtout le gâteau au carottes (allez-y pour le 3 étages)!

I sat at the bar & the bartender was outstanding, thoughtfully walking me through the menu & offering spot on suggestions for both food & wine pairings.
Every single dish was thoughtful, distinctive, & genuinely delicious. Each stood confidently on its own while still feeling cohesive as a meal. The service was excellent with clear care & attention to detail throughout, & the atmosphere was lively & buzzing without feeling chaotic.
Truly exceptional food & service from start to finish. You will be my very first stop the next time I am in Quebec City. All the best to your team.
Expérience vraiment solide. C'est décontracté mais pas trop, le staff est ça coche, la bouffe est wow. Le service est à ton rythme aussi. Pain à volonté en plus. Un must Limoilove!
Beau restaurant accueillant durant cette froide soirée de janvier. Bel accueil, excellents cocktails qui devancent une mise en bouche d'huîtres & de polenta frites, suivis de belles entrées & de remarquables plats principaux. Attention! Portions assez copieuses. Mais ça demeure un beau problème… Nous avons eu un excellent service. Sympathique & professionnel, s'adaptant à notre rythme, il nous a très bien conseillé pour le choix des vins. D'ailleurs, le restaurant possède une carte des vins impressionnante. Une très belle soirée!
Excellent food, lovely ambiance, & charming service. Their blind tasting menu was a great value, each dish was impeccably prepared & sauced. The decor was unique & tasteful, & the interior had plenty of different & unique seating options depending on your vibe.
