Many guests praise the diverse selection of high-quality pub fare, such as burgers, tacos, and mac and cheese, noting that the portions are generous and the prices are hard to beat in Quebec City.
Visited this place recently, & while the drink was good, the experience was overshadowed by the server's behavior. They insisted on a 15% tip, saying it's expected in Quebec, which felt inappropriate & unprofessional. Tips should always be at the customer's discretion, based on service quality. I always tip fairly for good service, but being pressured to tip left a bad impression. I hope management addresses this, as it affects the overall experience.
Great spot for a casual meal & drinks. Prices were fantastic, so we ordered a lot of different things to try - highlights were the chicken wings & pierogis. Extensive cocktail menu which we didn't try. Cool ambiance (beautiful old post office building, exposed wooden beams on ceiling), with nostalgic early 2000s music playing, friendly waitstaff. Mostly younger crowd, but a few older people. In summary: felt like a college dive bar in historic building, but with good food with great value.
Visited this place while in Quebec City, & I absolutely loved the experience! The atmosphere is fantastic with great music that sets the perfect vibe. The staff is incredibly welcoming & friendly, making you feel right at home. We tried a variety of drinks, including tequila shots, which were top-notch. The food was delicious, especially the quesadillas. The dessert was the perfect finishing touch, & I'm so glad I gave it a try. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in QC!
The place is so well designed with good vibes. Unfortunatly the staff were not there while we were waiting to order. They just came once & said that they will be there soon but again it took forever. We left there to go eat & drink somewhere else
