Notre visite au Restaurant La Montagnais a malheureusement été très décevante.

Dès notre arrivée, plusieurs employés sont passés devant nous sans même nous saluer ni nous accueillir. Après environ 10 à 15 minutes d'attente, quelqu'un est finalement venu nous demander pour combien de personnes nous étions, mais sans même un simple « bonjour ».

Une fois installés sur la terrasse, tout semblait bien commencer. Cependant, après que nos assiettes nous ont été servies, notre serveur a complètement cessé de s'occuper de nous. À aucun moment il n'est revenu pour vérifier si tout était à notre goût, si nous avions besoin de quelque chose ou si nous souhaitions un autre café. Nous nous sommes sentis complètement oubliés.

Mon conjoint & moi travaillons tous les deux dans le domaine de la restauration & nous savons à quel point le service à la clientèle est important. C'est pourquoi nous avons trouvé cette expérience particulièrement décevante.

Nous nous sommes sincèrement demandé si la différence de traitement était liée à notre couleur de peau, car nous avons observé que les autres tables autour de nous recevaient un service attentif & chaleureux, alors que nous avions l'impression d'être ignorés. Nous ne pouvons pas affirmer que c'en était la raison, mais c'est malheureusement le ressenti que cette expérience nous a laissé.

Nous espérons que cet avis sera pris en considération afin que tous les clients soient accueillis & servis avec le même respect & la même attention.

My friends & I highly recommend Restaurant Le Montagnais. This is a restaurant that caters to people who like & enjoy great home made food & beer, wine, beverages, all at reasonable prices in a spacious & pleasant atmosphere.

Le Montagnais has a menu that offers a wide range & meal options selection (including gluten free). It is the first time that I've seen - & I've travelled in many different countries - such a good selection for everyone.

The menu du jour (special of the day) is awesome & for those who like desserts, well, what can I say, you have to go to see them, experience them, & take some away with you too!

If you are part of a big group, you can reserve ahead. The restaurant also has a catering service & provides take out & delivery.

It was a truly memorable experience that we hope you can enjoy too.
