Wooow!! It's a beautiful place with good prices & delicious food! I had the soup of the day & their famous fish & chips, it was a big portion & it came out pretty fast. The waiter was so diligent & helpful. We loved the ambiance.
Bel endroit & bien localisé! Parfait pour un "après" Marché de Noël de Québec. Le Fish`N`chips était succulent. La sauce tartare un peu "annethée" pour moi mais goûteuse! Menu enfant abordable & assiettes copieuses pour les kids! Belle carte de vin! Le Chapeau melon! Ma copine très content de sa salade aux betteraves. Bref, bien situé. Beau restaurant qui "respire" & le menu terre & mer fait le travail. "Thumbs up" à Laurence pour le service. Nous y retournerons! Christian.
On aime la déco, l'ambiance, la musique & le service. Quant à la nourriture, l'expérience est différente selon ce que l"on prend. Mon conjoint & moi n'avons jamais rien goûté de plus mauvais que les moules au lait de coco, courge & coriandre, au point qu'on n'a pas pu les manger (notre serveur était mal à l'aise & nous a offert le dessert). Si j'étais le proprio je la ferais enlever du menu, tout simplement. Ceci dit, les Fish & Chips sont bons, les petits déjeuners sont très très bons & le service est excellent!

Food & service are excellent. The chowder was delicious, the fish of the day was lovely, chuck full of flavour. Salmon burger I have no complaints. Overall we had a really good meal. I forgot the staffs name, but he was friendly, not pushy at all when we happen to pass by & was looking at their menu. A good place to dine in, the patio seating was good just watching people pass by.
It's a pleasant surprise by its clean & refreshing environment after having a few traditional Quebec cuisines. The waiter was friendly & helpful. Fish & chips were okay, but the coleslaw was very impressed. The mordus salad was good & fresh. Mussels with blue cheese was good, but just too little. Highly recommended the 3 courses kid memu. My picky son was happy with his meal. The free sparkling water & the clean washroom made everything better.
Une belle découverte dans la Vieux-Québec ! Nous avons tous les 3 très bien mangé & les prix étaient raisonnables. J'ai pris la soupe du jour en entrée qui était délicieuse & les moules au bleu. Elles étaient vraiment bonnes ! Mon amie avait pris le fish & chips & elle a trouvé la panure très bonne & différente des autres endroits. Le service est sympathique & la déco vraiment sympa.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch, sitting outside on the shady patio looking at the church across the street. The fish (cod) & chips were excellent. Good quality fish, freshly fried, crispy & hot! The salmon burger (special of the day) was actually a nice filet of salmon, not chopped salmon. Very friendly service by Christine, who spoke to us in English but helped me learn a few new words in French. Nice cappuccinos to finish!
La soupe du jour était excellente, par contre le fish & chips végétarien était horrible. C'était un bloc de tofu frit, sans autre preparation ni assaisonnement. Je leur ai demandé de me le changer pour un macaroni au fromage, mais celui-ci était pratiquement fluorescent & goutait.. drôle. Pas si mauvais, juste... drôle. La salade niçoise n'avait pas tous les ingrédients mentionnés & les légumes étaient mal préparés. En gros, c'était très cher pour de la nourriture médiocre. Les employés étaient courtois, professionnels & très agréables. Le service était impeccable. Par contre, les prix sur la facture étaient plus chers que sur le menu. En tout cas, passez y pour leur potage, mais sans plus.
