Stopped in for lunch while walking around the chateau area window shopping. We were looking for a light lunch, & this place provided. We both had the daily special of an open face ham & egg sandwich. It was a great combination of shredded ham, egg quarters & vegetables on a piece of toasted sourdough, accompanied by freshly made kettle chips. It hit all the taste notes perfectly & didn't weigh us down for the rest of the day. It included a small dessert & coffee, so while light, felt like a complete meal.

Je pense que c'est le petit déjeuner qui m'a le moin plu depuis mon arrivée au Canada ... Salle très froide en température donc l'assiette aussi dommage quand ont mange des oeufs du bacon & effiloché.... Service pas top car je demande du beurre & je l'attends toujours... Dommage la fille elle est sympa....

We visited The Clarendon Hotel in Quebec City in JUNE, 2025. The restaurant at the hotel, Brasserie Les Mordus, was wonderful. The food was amazing & we ate there often. The dining room was lovely.
The servers were so nice & helpful. I would like to mention a few of them that went above & beyond. Special thanks to Heidi,
Anthony, Sophia & JC. They were always
available if we had any questions.

Pricey to say the least. Convenient location, food was fine. Not a place I would run back to. That whole tourist area is very pricey for the most basic food.

Un véritable coup de coeur pour Les Mordus ! Cuisine raffinée, produits frais - tout était parfait du début à la fin.
Mention spéciale à Christine, notre serveuse, qui a été absolument formidable : chaleureuse, attentionnée, pleine d'humour. Grâce à elle, on s'est sentis comme chez des amis.
On reviendra, c'est certain !

Stop here for a craft cocktail & / or a meal!

Dine outside on the terrace or sit inside. It is a perfect spot to take in Quebec City. The staff were incredibly friendly & knowledgeable. They spoke perfect English & welcomed us Americans with open arms. The prices were reasonable & the food was delicious. With a large assortment of drinks, & some really neat home made cocktail recipes, this is the perfect place for drinks & Dinner. Say hi to Clara at the bar. She is delightful!

I had a few'Lone Wolf' & my partner had an Old Fashioneds. We left the place not remembering our names🤣

My partner had the Salmon & I had the Hanger Steak. Both were amazing.

We will be back!!!
