It's a pleasant surprise by its clean & refreshing environment after having a few traditional Quebec cuisines. The waiter was friendly & helpful. Fish & chips were okay, but the coleslaw was very impressed. The mordus salad was good & fresh. Mussels with blue cheese was good, but just too little. Highly recommended the 3 courses kid memu. My picky son was happy with his meal. The free sparkling water & the clean washroom made everything better.

Our group did a food tour, & Les Mordus was the first of three stops. I had the appetizer here, with some cured meats, a salad & a couple slices of bread. The servers were friendly, & the food was OK! Also got to try their beer.

A bistro with an airy interior & nice sidewalk seating with French style ambiance attached to the Clarendon Hotel. Menu selection was nice & reasonably priced for the quality. Service wasn't bad although staff could be more attentive where it really matters (e.g. they will get you seated as soon as you arrive at the door, but then take their time or not care as much once you're seated). I noticed this with me as well as other customers seated around us & had the same concern. We ordered the salmon burger & seafood poutine. The "burger" wasn't really that, but more of a salmon fillet sandwiched between two slices of bread. The calamari that supposedly comes with (according to the menu) was literally one piece used as garnish. The seafood poutine was mostly potatoes & cheese curds with the tiniest amount of seafood (I was able to count 4 mini shrimps in the entire bowl for example & could barely see any of the shredded lobster or crab). Still the quality was good overall, despite coming off as a bit of a ripoff .This could be a nice restaurant if they could just fix these small (but important) details.

Une belle découverte dans la Vieux-Québec ! Nous avons tous les 3 très bien mangé & les prix étaient raisonnables. J'ai pris la soupe du jour en entrée qui était délicieuse & les moules au bleu. Elles étaient vraiment bonnes ! Mon amie avait pris le fish & chips & elle a trouvé la panure très bonne & différente des autres endroits. Le service est sympathique & la déco vraiment sympa.

Lunch: Service très lent même si c'était presque vide. Bouffe très ordinaire. Burger décevant & vinaigrette blanche (kraft?) en quantité industrielle. Le tout pour 80$. En réponse à votre réponse: Je comprends que vous travaillez fort & que votre métier n'est pas facile. Mais sortir d'un restaurant en n'ayant pas aimé ce qu'on a mangé, c'est extrêmement décevant. On commande un "latté dans un bol". Ca arrive dans une tasse. Burger BLT: la tomate est sortie des soins palliatifs. La boulette de viande est un peu sèche. Trop de sauce. Frittes pas mauvaises, mais sans sel. Salade très ordinaire. Salade niçoise: les morceaux de thon sont parfaitement cuits & assaisonnés. Délicieux. Par contre le reste est décevant, surtout à cause de l'excès de vinaigrette. Service: la dame à la table d'à côté trouvait que c'était très long aussi.

Wife & I had their breakfast two days in a row. Excellent food with excellent service. Would definitely return & would highly recommend.
