We enjoyed an extraordinary evening at Limoncello. Our waiter Alex was very attentive & kindly spoke to us in perfect English after we fumbled with our limited French.
The menu had so many wonderful options. I thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi sauce rosee & burrata. Delicious. My husband chose the spaghetti sauce tomate & polpettes de veau maison & it was fantastic. Our appetizer was fondue au fromage was heavenly.
The wine selection was good. It was a lovely meal on the patio.
We came here on a whim without a reservation. The restaurant was extremely busy, so we ended up taking seats at the bar.
To start, we ordered two appetizers: the beef carpaccio & the burrata. The beef carpaccio was outstanding. The balance of cheese, arugula, olive oil, & vinegar was spot on, with each ingredient complementing the others without overpowering the delicate flavor of the beef. Topped with some crispy bits (I'm not exactly sure what they were), the dish gained an extra layer of texture that elevated it even further. It was a simple dish executed exceptionally well. The burrata was also enjoyable & made for a great start to the meal.
For the mains, we chose two pasta dishes-the ravioli & the spaghetti with pesto sauce. Both were excellent, full of flavor, & cooked perfectly.
For dessert, we ordered the pistachio ice cream & the cheesecake topped with bacon bites. The cheesecake was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. The combination of creamy cheesecake & the savory bacon bits was surprisingly delightful & worked beautifully together. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already enjoyable meal.
A special mention goes to Virginia, the owner, who was incredibly friendly & helpful throughout our visit. Her warm hospitality made the experience even more memorable.
Overall, despite arriving without a reservation & having to sit at the bar, we had a wonderful dining experience. If I ever visit Quebec City again, I will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Excellent petit resto italien de quartier. On y mange très bien & le service, WOW! Si j'avais pu donner une 6ième étoile, je l'aurais fait. Je vais définitivement y retourner.

En tant que cuisinier & critique culinaire je suis ravis de ma visite à ce restaurant italien, petit & sympatique j'ai manger un super filet mignon & ma copine des raviolis géants, elle est très heureuse de son expérience, je n'ai pas fait de photos vue le grans nombres déja en ligne sur la mape! mais je vous dit ca vaut le détour en plus il y avait des clients qui attendait dehors q'une places se libèrent je conseille de résevé avant & un grand bravo a la propriétaire , aux serveurs très poli & au cuisinier de la cuisine ainsi q'au chef A+
