The Irish Pub Chez Murphy’s, founded in 2015 in the heart of Old Quebec, pays homage to the city’s Irish heritage. Festive atmosphere with live music every day made by local musicians, you'll hear folk, jazz, pop and blues. Its enchanting decor of wood and ancestral stones will charm you. Come and enjoy a pizza cooked in an oven specially designed for pizzas, fish and chips or their delicious ribs. You will find a wide variety of cocktails and Quebec beer. Moreover, Murphy's will become a microbrewery in 2022 by brewing its beer directly on site! Welcome children!

An eclectic restaurant with a great vibe. While they have everything you'd expect from a restaurant where Murphy's is the promenant name displayed everywhere, they also have a lot of items you wouldn't expect. My wife & I were walking around for a while trying to figure out where to eat & finally decided in Murphy's as the wooden signs out front also mentioned of course, pizza. We didn't expect to see such a varied menu or the fantastic performance from Rosemarie Gauthier. The music & the decor were key to the great vibe as we eventually noticed many of the seats were old church pews. My wife had the pizza & I had the fish & chips. As you can see from the photos, it smelled so good & tasted so nice that we ate before taking photos which doesn't happen often. The pepperoni pizza's cheese was the perfect amount of chewy & melty while the fish & chips were crispy but not so heavy we couldn't eat anything later. As with many restaurants in the city, the service was fantastic, friendly & attentive.

Les serveuses étaient toutes très sympathiques, souriantes rien à dire. Le serveur qui s'est occupé de nous toutes la soirée n'était pas chaleureux, pas un sourire du service & lors des commandes nous avions l'impression de L'embêter plus qu'autre chose. Au moment de payer, le tips que nous souhaitions laisser à la hauteur de son amabilité l'a contrarié, au point de nous le faire savoir ! Bref pour éviter les histoires nous avons décidé de rajouter du tips (sentiment de raquette) puis nous sommes partis. Nous n'avons rien consommé à manger. Cadre super, simplement une très mauvaise expérience avec ce serveur.

Ambiance sympathique. J'ai pris une pizza garnie... elle est vraiment chère pour ce que ça vaut. Elle était fade, on aurait dit une pizza décongelée. Dommage que ça dit « pizzeria », car il vaut mieux choisir autre chose à manger.

Le plat servi ne ressemble pas à ce qui est écrit dans le menu. Un smoked meat en poche bouilli, pas de moutarde dedans, rien. Bref, de la merde. Tout est trop cher. Une pinte, un verre de vin & un smoked meat "comme Montréal"😄, pour plus de 60$ avec le tip. C'est à moitié vide, allez ailleurs.
