Je me suis rendu dans ce restaurant/pub à la recherche d'un endroit agréable pour savourer une délicieuse Guinness & je n'ai pas été déçut ! L'intérieur du pub est très bien décoré & l'ambiance est agréable & chaleureuse. La Guinness passe tout seule dans le gosier & la nourriture était très bonne. J'y suis allé pour manger un bon Fish'n'chips & il était vraiment délicieux. La portion était généreuse , la salade & les frites vraiment douces & bonnes. Le poisson était délicatement panné & le gout de la bière se ressentais bien à chaque bouchées. Il y a eu un artiste qui est venu jouer de la guitare , c'était vraiment très agréable d'écouter de la bonne musique pendant le repas. Je recommande ce restaurant/pub !
Nice place to eat, just far enough away from the Cruise Port to not be too touristy. Had live music playing when we arrived; a young guy singing & playing the guitar, that was very good. Served quickly & the food was average. Tastes fine, just nothing to differentiate between anywhere else. I imagine it's a fairly consistent, reliable place. Toilets are upstairs where I passed more empty seating too & as it was just out of season (beginning of Fall/Autumn), I can imagine that in the Summer this place would be very busy. All in all, I'd say it lacks the traditional Irish Pub vibe. It feels more like a service station with a western twang & a nod to the Irish here & there, a Guinness mirror & a few spalshes of green. I'm not saying don't go, as the food & the drinks were fine, tasted good, average prices, staff were quick & polite, etc. Just don't expect anything special.
La serveuse était souriante & polie. Par contre, service très long à cause de plusieurs oublis... oublié de passer la commande & mon fils a reçu sa pizza lorsque les autres ont eu terminé de manger, même chose pour mes frites.
Bel ambiance avec chansonnier.
Les prix sont maintenant démesurés. Malgré que nous aimons beaucoup votre restaurant, il est rendu trop dispendieux pour ce que c'est, nous avons décidé d'attendre que les prix redeviennent raisonnables avant d'y retourner.
We had pre selected our menu for our group of 30 guests. Guests had a choice of salad or soup for the appetizer. When the appetizers were served, everyone was served soup (even those who did not choose it), & no one got a salad. When I asked the server about it, she said the salad was on its way out of the kitchen. It never came. We also pre-ordered shareable appetizers that were not served in a timely manner. They came out after the soups were served to each guest. The service was slow & seemed very disorganized despite having pre-ordered everything in advance.
Nice place, good music, had a live performance in the afternoon. It was a warm & nice day of October, so the terrace was still an option & the windows were open.
We could watch an international soccer game on tv.
Good selection for drinks & food, which looked delicious, but we were there only for a drink between 2 activities.
It's really a nice little place, directly on St-Jean Street in Old Quebec's City.
Beau pub avec une bonne ambiance avec chansonnier. Nous avons passer un bon moment. L'entrée de crevettes étais délicieuse & la poutine étais bonne surtout pour sa sauce à la bière. Je recommande cet endroit entre amis pour passer une bonne soirée. Par contre le menu est un peu dispendieux par rapport à d'autre resto pub.
I had two pizzas here. Italian susage & smoked meat. The food was good but pretty medicore, smoked meat pizza was more delicous. The prices were reasonable for the area. The atmosphere was really enjoyable, with a wonderful live music singer, adding to the overall charm of the experience. All & all I do recommend the place for a night out.
