The Irish Pub Chez Murphy’s, founded in 2015 in the heart of Old Quebec, pays homage to the city’s Irish heritage. Festive atmosphere with live music every day made by local musicians, you'll hear folk, jazz, pop and blues. Its enchanting decor of wood and ancestral stones will charm you. Come and enjoy a pizza cooked in an oven specially designed for pizzas, fish and chips or their delicious ribs. You will find a wide variety of cocktails and Quebec beer. Moreover, Murphy's will become a microbrewery in 2022 by brewing its beer directly on site! Welcome children!

Expérience assez décevante:

- Il n'y avait aucun papier de toilette dans la salle de bain

- J'ai dû demander à deux reprises des verres d'eau avant qu'on me les apporte (j'ai patienté avant de le demander sachant que le restaurant était achalandé)

- Même chose pour les'refill', j'ai fini par demander qu'on me remplisse mon verre d'eau à force d'attendre (aucune vérification du serveur pendant la soirée & très difficile de'l'attraper' pour lui demander 2 refills)

- Le pain sous mon burger était détrempé dès l'arrivée de mon assiette

- La boulette de boeuf du burger était de piètre qualité & avait plutôt le goût & la texture d'une saucisse déjeuner (je doute que ce n'était pas seulement du boeuf)

Bref, je ne m'attends jamais à un service parfait (surtout en pleine période estivale), mais cette accumulation de points négatifs (en plus du prix élevé des assiettes) a vraiment terni l'expérience.

Les deux étoiles sont pour l'ambiance du restaurant: le band live était très agréable & la terrasse extérieure est toujours appréciée l'été.

Authentic Pub experience! The friendliest faces & so welcoming. They make their work seem like fun (when we all know that's not entirely the truth with any of us!). Melodie was our server & was very pleasant, helpful & patient! Visit this pub & get the experience with live music! ☘?

Même si de irlandais il n'a que le nom, ça reste un endroit vraiment sympas pour une bière ou un repas. On y mange bien & y'a de la musique live tous les soir.
