Our server was very attentive & our meal was delicious! The Carbonara was perfect & my husband's Fettuccine Alfredo scrumptious! Very quaint atmosphere.

I came to portofino fairly late in the evening. I was on a business trip & was in search of a good glass of wine & a delicious pizza. I got this & more. The staff were super friendly, despite my complete lack of French (I apologize). They were welcoming & attentive. The bar tender was quick to service me & I was pleasantly surprised to find one of my favorite wines on their menu, for less than I am used to paying at other locations. The pizza was wonderful, the burrata tasted as though fresh that day or perhaps a couple days. It was the perfect consistency, with a thin & well stretched exterior, & a creamy & delicious centre. I love that the bartender added fresh Parmesan when the pizza arrived & that balsamic vinegar was added to the top. The flavour combinations were great. Was an awesome first experience, I will definitely be back :) Thankyou, merci beaucoup!!

This restaurant is very popular, & was extremely busy on the Friday night we were there. Tables are inches apart, not an exaggeration. We felt as if we were having dinner with the couple beside us. The food was quite nice, better than average. Service was ok, but not particularly attentive. Took ages to pay, didn't check on drinks.

Great service, very attentive, bilingual & food was delicious. Love the atmosphere right in old Quebec City. Do not try to drive close to the restaurant as a lot of one way streets & foot traffic, park & walk & you will have a great experience!
