Wonderful dinner & all around evening! In a sea of French restaurants, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening of Italian cuisine! The atmosphere was lively & cozy! We enjoyed spaghetti bolognese & a lovely Italian sausage pizza. Service was friendly & accommodating. The live music was the icing on the cake! Thank you for the memorable evening!

I consider myself a good cook, I had an Italian girlfriend for 5 years & I make pasta at least 3 times a week, but every time I eat at the Portofino's I'm asking myself what do these guys know that I don't :-) !!! I'm not sure that the waiter passed my comment to the manager, but the cook deserves a good raise - I've done linguine ai frutti di mare myself the same week, but it was SOO much better at the Portofino's ... with a charming welcome, a lot of space & a real pizza oven, stop looking for alternatives if you like Mediterranean food !!!

whenever, we visit Quebec city we ALWAYS make sure to make reservations at our favorite restaurant. It is always a perfect evening with the most amazing food. anyone who would like to eat authentic, fresh, & mouthwatering italian food, you really need to try this amazing restaurant!

The dining experience was great! Our reservation was for 6:30pm & we arrived early & the hostess was gracious in changing our reservation & taking us in earlier as we had arrived at around 5:30pm. The service was excellent, even though it was very busy. The Italian cuisine was excellent. We booked online & it was very simple. I would recommend Portofino - Restaurant Italien du View-Quebec if you are into Italian cuisine.

The food was very good & the location is great. However, we did not appreciate the waitresses in skimpy clothing. It was not the appropriate attire for an italian restaurant.
