This restaurant was an overwhelming delight! Excellent food; oh the pesto pine nuts pasta side with my divine & tender filet mignon was top notch, superb!
Paula was an attentive, lovely & lively server. I still love that unique voice!

We had an amazing dining experience at Portofino!
The historic building creates a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, but the food is the real star. The veggie pizza was perfect with a crisp, wood-fired crust & fresh toppings. The pesto pasta was also outstanding rich, incredibly flavorful, & perfectly cooked. The service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend if you are looking for top-tier Italian food in the city!

Had such a great experience here! The pasta was fresh, flavorful, & cooked perfectly. The focaccia bread was warm, soft, & absolutely delicious - honestly one of the highlights of the meal. Cozy atmosphere, great service, & authentic Italian flavors. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

A wonderful restaurant to visit when you are in Quebec City. Nice atmosphere & well prepared food. We had shared pizza & pasta which came already split into 2 plates (loved the idea) portions a suitable. The place is a bit pricy yet worth it.

Amazing pasta. No pic. Are it too fast. Pizza was ok at our table. Service was poor quality. & really over priced for what we got!
Server didn't like us as we only ordered one item & shared but then ordered another as we were still hungry. Food isn't that filling. Small portions. Can't say I was impressed…as I wasn't ! Very disappointing

The experience it was amazing. The food it was delicious. I did order a Carbonara pasta with shrimp & OMG, delicious. The Creme Brulè as well amazing. 10/10!

We were so happy with service, the food & a great atmosphere. I had the focaccia which was warm & had a bit of spring in the bread. The pasta I had was the fettuccine pesto. It was rich, delicious, sprinkled with toasted pine nuts , & the added some yummy parmigiana cheese at the table. Dessert was a caramel volcano & it was the perfect sharing size.

We had fettuccine mushroom pasta & the tortellini both were really good. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. The waitresses all seemed nice & chatty.

An average experience. The interior is nice, has a nice vibe to the place. Food was decent, fresh pasta & pretty good pizza. Unfortunately I had to give this place a 3 star because during our dining experience 90% of the staff were putting up Christmas decorations & were ignoring the customers. Only one poor staff member was seating guests, taking orders & making drinks while everyone else were putting up decorations & boxes & bags were cluttering up the restaurant. We felt more like an inconvenience to the restaurant rather than valued customers while trying to have a good dining experience. Have you ever been to a restaurant where you're the last one there before closing & they are putting up chairs, moping the floor & turning up the house lights? It felt like that for us in the middle of the afternoon.
