We had an amazing dining experience at Portofino!
The historic building creates a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, but the food is the real star. The veggie pizza was perfect with a crisp, wood-fired crust & fresh toppings. The pesto pasta was also outstanding rich, incredibly flavorful, & perfectly cooked. The service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend if you are looking for top-tier Italian food in the city!

Overall our direct interactions with the service was pleasant. The staff all seem to get along great but unfortunately their good time together greatly impeded ours. They had very loud boisterous conversation in the middle of the otherwise quiet restaurant. Their conversation was not overall what I would say to be appropriate either, with plenty of cursing & off hand remarks. The food took quite some time to get, & without many other customers it almost felt rude for them to all be out in the front of the house. When it came to the food, I found it be considerably lacking. We had the mushroom appetizer which was probably the best course of the diner. The margherita pizza was soggy, & while it did have fresh basil, it was mere slivers of it. I would say though it did taste like they at least use San Marzano's tomatoes throughout. Our lasagna was rather bland & disappointing, the sausage had no real bite to it & the sauce tasted of just tomato. It wasn't the worst Italian food I have had, but it certainly wasn't anything I would write home about.

Resto Italien avec four à bois.
Erreur de lecture du Pizzaiollo, ils ont du refaire la pizza !
le Staff du bar semble plus s'amuser que de travailler, les mouches a fruit envahissent le restaurant !
Quand le parton arrive vers midi, les souris arrêtent net de danser .
Pour l'avenir du resto, moins de barmaid le matin & plus de patron.
Coût plutôt élevé pour un lunch du midi & deux bières.

A wonderful restaurant to visit when you are in Quebec City. Nice atmosphere & well prepared food. We had shared pizza & pasta which came already split into 2 plates (loved the idea) portions a suitable. The place is a bit pricy yet worth it.

Portofino is a really good Italian restaurant. I tried the lasagna & carbonara - both were very good. The pizza is a bit more modern Italian style, but still tasty. Nice atmosphere, I recommend it.

Been to many places from coast to coast & this is the best Pizza I've ever had. Drinks were delicious too. Price was super reasonable for quality food like that. Great place overall!

Amazing pasta. No pic. Are it too fast. Pizza was ok at our table. Service was poor quality. & really over priced for what we got!
Server didn't like us as we only ordered one item & shared but then ordered another as we were still hungry. Food isn't that filling. Small portions. Can't say I was impressed…as I wasn't ! Very disappointing
