An unforgettable experience in Québec City
After knocking on the doors of several restaurants looking for a pet-friendly place, this was the only one in all of Québec that welcomed us - & not just us, but our little dog Meli 🐶💖. From that moment on, we knew this place was special.
The manager was incredibly kind & warm, accepting Meli without hesitation. You can truly feel when a place is run with heart, not just professionalism.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious:
• 🧅 French onion soup - comforting & perfectly balanced
• 🍝 Fettuccini Alfredo - creamy & full of flavor
• 🍕 Pizza - simply perfect
• 🧀 Cannelloni - rich, comforting, & made with care
• 🍫 Chocolate cake - the perfect ending

Our servers, Camille & Marille, were exceptional: attentive, warm, professional, & genuinely kind. You can clearly see the great work environment among the staff & the love they put into both the service & the kitchen.

Un petit bout d'Italie au coeur de la ville de Québec. Pizza au feu de bois & pâtes maison font de cet endroit un incontournable. Nous y avons passé un agréable moment.
This was my first night in Quebec City & this place was super cute & close by our Airb&b. Would honestly eat here again. The ingredients were premium & the food was as authentic as you can get. We had the pizza & lasagna & both were top notch. The best part was of course the crème brûlée. 🥰
Food was delicious. We are vegetarians & had the Mushroom Risotto ball appetizer, two house salads, a vegetarian pizza, & chocolate cake. Service was quick & friendly. They were decorated for Christmas.
An average experience. The interior is nice, has a nice vibe to the place. Food was decent, fresh pasta & pretty good pizza. Unfortunately I had to give this place a 3 star because during our dining experience 90% of the staff were putting up Christmas decorations & were ignoring the customers. Only one poor staff member was seating guests, taking orders & making drinks while everyone else were putting up decorations & boxes & bags were cluttering up the restaurant. We felt more like an inconvenience to the restaurant rather than valued customers while trying to have a good dining experience. Have you ever been to a restaurant where you're the last one there before closing & they are putting up chairs, moping the floor & turning up the house lights? It felt like that for us in the middle of the afternoon.
Omg. Visiting Quebec for the first time. Had some pretty awful food up to this point, but our luck changed when we wandered into Portofino! Wow. The food was excellent: tried 4 dishes & all were amazing. The carbonara: hot & tasty, the pizza: very good, & the gnocchi: my daughter loved it. Starter was salmon & very good according to my companions- who got the remainder to go. Can't say enough great things - had wine & cocktails. Picture is the tiramisu dessert. All excellent. We will be back before we leave this charming city.
Some good Italian pizza & pasta dishes. It was really packed at the time of our visit in the middle of week, so preferably reserve your table in advance.
They had live music at the time or visit, but it's quite hard to hear since there were too much noise & tables are a bit close to each other.
