Staff were very helpful & happy. It was very busy for the hockey game, but they were very accommodating in allowing us to wait, then promptly sat us at the next available bar seats. Cheap beer, great wings & hockey with sound on during game play & bar soundtrack during commercial breaks. They know how to run a hockey night in a pub!
I've been in a few bars in QC now & I've not had a good experience. However, Pub du Parvis made me feel at home from the minute I walked in, from the warm service, to putting the football on for me, to the best French onion soup in QC. I can't recommend this place enough.
We had a great experience at Pub du Parvis! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere & friendly service. The staff were attentive, patient, & made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening.
We loved the ambiance-whether you're looking to sit indoors, enjoy the fresh air on the outdoor patio, or grab a spot at the bar, there's something for everyone. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of the action, with a lively yet relaxed vibe.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the nachos & the classic French onion soup-both were full of flavor & cooked perfectly. We also shared a mix plate that came with onion rings, chicken wings, cheese sticks, & calamari-everything was crispy, tasty, & satisfying. The drinks could've been better, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
Another bonus: Pub du Parvis is open late, making it a perfect spot for a fun night out or a late bite after a busy day.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a good place to relax, eat well, & enjoy a nice evening out in the city!
Absolutely one of the best pubs/ bars i have ever been to in any city. Food is next level, Service is impeccable whether you speak French or English & just the overall vibe is great. 100% will be coming to this pub every single time I am in Quebec city ❤?
After seven years, I was so excited to return to Pub du Parvis, & it exceeded all my expectations once again! The service is still impeccable-attentive, friendly, & welcoming, making everyone feel like a valued guest. The food was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of options. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see they offer creative & flavorful dishes that didn't feel like an afterthought. One of the highlights of the evening was at the end of my meal when the bar staff gave everyone a shot on the house. The entire bar cheered together, creating such a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. It felt like we were all part of a big celebration, & it's something I'll never forget. Pub du Parvis isn't just a restaurant-it's an experience. The combination of great food, outstanding service, & a lively, welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return again!
Personnel vraiment sympathique & bonne sélection de bières en fût. Un bes bars les plus cool du coin & un bon endroit pour écouter des matchs. J'aime beaucoup leurs burgers & leurs cornichons frits en entrée.
J'ai seulement mangé un burger smash & il était excellent. Malheureusement je ne connais pas assez le menu pour les autres items mais smash burger & frites super!& beau bar & terrasse pour manger ou prendre un verre relax.
