I stopped by this pub just to grab a drink without any expectations, but it was truly amazing-far better than I could have hoped. All the servers were incredibly friendly, & the singer was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to his music, I had a truly happy night.

Un classique dans le vieux Québec pour une pinte accompagné d'un bon scotch. Idéal pour une belle fin de soirée, ou même prendre une bouchée entres ami.es avec une ambiance musicale festive. Un peu bruyant à certains Endroits, non propice pour les discussions profondes, mais vous pouvez demander une section plus loin. Plaisir assuré.

This is a must stop when in old Quebec they had live music & she was amazing (Nov 26th 2025) & their pizza was amazing their service was great so friendly.

This pub has a really fun vibe! The staff was friendly, the live music was great & the food was tasty. The burger was a little pricey & the upcharge to change the fries to a poutine was excessive in my opinion (+$9). The churros were absolutely amazing as was the caramel sauce that came with it.

this pub is the perfect spot if you want to hang out with friends over a beer & enjoy live music. But if you're coming for the food, you'll probably be disappointed.

both the regular & vegetarian burgers were pretty average. The veggie burger in particular tasted like it might have been made from a frozen patty.

Pub St-Alexandre is everything you would want in an Irish pub. They have a breezy outdoor dining area, as well as two levels of indoor seating & a stage for nightly live music. The menu is extensive for lunch & dinner options & the draught beer selection is quite good. The staff works hard to keep everyone happy & taken care of.

I know the place is a decent bar, usyally, & in the summer I'd probably go closer to 5 stars. My perspective is skewed due to 3 factors:
1. It's winter, it was brutally cold, & we got a table close to the door. While they definitely tried to minimize the cold air getting in, it was also incredibly busy - & we ended up being in the cold. A lot.
2. We wanted to see the first USA Canada 4 Nations game. The table had almost no proper view of the TV, so our main goal for eating there kind of got defeated.
3. It was beyond busy - the last weekend of the Bonne Homme festival, the first of the PeeWee QC international hokey championship, the 4Nations - the entire city was a zoo.

The food was good, nothing spectacular. The atmosphere would have been fantastic w/o #1 & #2. They have live music, it was a lovely jazzy duo, which I would have enjoyed much more, had I not been more interested in the game 😀

The service, though, was great. The servers kept their calm & coo (& kept apologizing for the inconveniences & delays)l, ours was very friendly & made perfect suggestions for both food & drinks. We will return in the fall, to enjoy the patio.
