Waitress was rude. We ordered a second round of drinks but they were never delivered. Fish & chips were good, hamburger very greasy.

If you're looking for fish & chips, don't come here.

We both ordered the fish & chips. Our fish came out looking awesome, golden brown in one large piece as is common at chippies in the UK. The disappointment happens when you cut into it. The crust was crunchy but immediately after it was a thick layer of mush. I don't know if the fish wasn't fried long enough & the batter left uncooked or the fish itself (haddock supposedly) was not great but what resulted was a tasteless nasty mushy mess.

Our waiter did come check on us but it was one of those'everything is good?' & walk away type checks. He took great offense when we later asked someone who was refilling our waters why the fish was the way it was. One of the other servers gave us a menu to order something else.

We were in the midst of looking through the menu for something else when our waiter came back to confront us with the fact that he had checked on us.'Why did you say it was good when I asked?' - we didn't. If you ask a question, maybe stay long enough to get an answer. His attitude turned me off so much we didn't order anything else.

He came back a few minutes later with the bill having done us the great favour of'giving' us one of our inedible dishes for free.

We spent $36 for a diet coke. I would not recommend this place. Other than our waiter, everyone else seemed understanding & nice.

I ordered the fish & chips & I thought it was mediocre - that is it filled the need for being hungry, but not great by any means. Also had the classic poutine which again unfortunately wasn't so great. I'd come back for beers but definitely not food!

The servers were very good, as was the atmosphere & the Boréale beer...
However, we ordered a Fish & Chips, which we shared - it tasted average (at best) somewhat similar to frozen fried & fish & chips - those bought from a local grocery...
For the aforementioned reasons, we'll likely return buy for the beer only; definitely not for food.

The staff is attentive & friendly. One of us had chili which he said was delicious. One had fish & chips. Fish good but fries a little soggy. The beer we ordered they were out of so they upsold us to a'better' one. We thought a bit pricey but we were in the heart of a tourist area so probably in line.

The fish & chips were not bad, it were not the best either. They had a very good guitarist performing with a great voice. I did not feel having alcohol & being hungry I finished my meal quickly. To my surprise they came with the check without asking them for it! First time I felt being kicked out of restaurant!

If you're looking for an authentic British pub experience with standout food & top-tier service, this place is a must-visit. I started with the calamari, & it was easily one of the best I've had-lightly battered, crispy, & tender on the inside, served with a zesty dipping sauce that brought it all together.

The fish & chips were the star of the meal-perfectly golden, flaky cod with a crisp exterior, served with thick-cut fries & a tangy tartare sauce. It's exactly what you'd hope for in a British pub classic.

On top of the excellent food, the customer service was warm & attentive. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, checking in regularly without being intrusive.

All in all, a fantastic spot for a comforting meal in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The host who sat us was wonderful! The waitress was cranky & in a rush for our orders. My husband's fried fish was cooked in advanced & not very hot, my smoked meat sandwich was the size of a small slider! The French fries were very good!
