This place is so much bigger than it looks. Lovely fireplaces & so many varieties of drinks the bartenders are amazing! Very comfortable to sit down & sip a Guinness.
If the ladies are out shopping, perfect place to grab a drink & watch sports. Not only would you be surprised about the vast amount of space they have in the basement, their team of service is out'freaking'standing. Can't say too much to the food, just got a few appetizers to go with my alcohol :)
Merci :)

Firstly, we came to St Patrick pub for Guinness. They had no Guinness available at this time. The food was the worst part of the pub. The trio of tacos (chicken/beef/pork) all had the same taste with dry meat. We could not distinguish between them. The flank steak meal was cooked well done when requested medium & the fries it came with were cold. Our server was kind, & they had live music. I would not recommend this pub for drinks or food, as one glass of pop even costed $7.50. It was the least impressive experience we had in old Quebec!
Staff were nice but the place was clearly understaffed which made it slow. Food arrived before drinks oddly & was lukewarm. Patio is a nice place to sit & people watch.
My waiter, Simon, was very kind, funny, & never forgot a drink, food, or anything. He was great with a big group & should be known all over the earth. Great restraint to!
Great food, terrible service. We were seated then ignored for about 10 minutes. Finally we get a menu, 10 minutes later we get to place our order. The food was great, the waitstaff was inattentive to their customers. They walked by the table like we were invisible, when we did manage to get their attention it took asking 3 times before we were able to get a drink refill.
we booked a table, wasn't asked if we had as it Was not too busy. Was a bit noisy from customers next door. We were outside. I just needed a Guinness before eating elsewhere, it was good. I like more comfort in my surroundings, loved the music, but cramped outside, my wife is too old or should I say less fit for high stools inside. we were just in for a drink. Good location for people watching taking in the ambiance of Quebec.
