Located in the heart of the Quartier Petit Champlain, the brand new “sports chalet” Q-de-Sac Resto-Pub offers a menu of Quebec flavours in a warm, shack-like setting.
The kitchen brigade promotes local products and is seduced by the wood stove to prepare delicious pieces of meat and delicious pizzas. The menu blends perfectly with the cottage concept by proposing the "comfort food". The Q-de-Sac Resto-Pub has on its board of classic Québécois dishes reinvented.

Patio was lovely. Great for people watching on umbrella alley
French onion soup was ok. Nice smoke taste & smell to it. Duck wings were great! Cidre & beer delicious!
A pub, nothing more, nothing less. The atmosphere is casual & exactly what you'd expect. The wood-fired pizza was a highlight - crisp crust, great flavor. The French onion soup, however, didn't quite win us over, & the poutine just didn't hit the spot.

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant & wanted to share my thoughts. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm & inviting. I visited with my baby son, who was in a stroller, & the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They even offered to heat up his baby food, which was a thoughtful gesture & made us feel very welcome as a young family.
As for the food, everything we tried was excellent. I ordered the duck wings in soy sauce, onion soup, & the beet salad. The duck wings were tender & coated in a rich, slightly sweet soy glaze that was full of flavor. The onion soup was hearty & comforting, with a deep broth & a perfectly melted cheese topping. The beet salad was fresh & vibrant, with a good balance of earthy sweetness & acidity. Each dish was well-prepared & presented with care.
Service was friendly, efficient, & attentive without being intrusive. It's not always easy finding places that are both baby-friendly & serve high-quality food, but this restaurant checked all the boxes. I'd definitely return & highly recommend it to others-especially families.
We sit indoor. Food is good, taste is wonderful, we order Stracciatella Pizza, Onion soup, sausage paste & Cesar salad. Waiter is very nice & provide good services, can recommend & try.
This was such a fun experience. The staff is fantastic & really makes you feel welcome. It's a nice atmosphere too. Really enjoyed the food. The soup was particularly delicious.
We went in the afternoon on a Tuesday, after the normal lunch time. Our service was prompt & polite.
We ordered the French onion soup, beet salad, & the poutine. We were allowed to order a small/kids poutine, even though both my dining partner & I are adults, which was nice of our waiter.
Both the poutine & beet salad were good & I would order those dishes again. The French onion soup was very salty. It was too salty for my dining companion & barely tolerable for me. Keep this in mind if you decide to order the soup.
The restrooms are also clean, & it is conveniently located.
Exellent pub !
