Located in the heart of the Quartier Petit Champlain, the brand new “sports chalet” Q-de-Sac Resto-Pub offers a menu of Quebec flavours in a warm, shack-like setting.
The kitchen brigade promotes local products and is seduced by the wood stove to prepare delicious pieces of meat and delicious pizzas. The menu blends perfectly with the cottage concept by proposing the "comfort food". The Q-de-Sac Resto-Pub has on its board of classic Québécois dishes reinvented.

Q de Sac is widely appreciated as a charming and cozy destination in Old Quebec, known for its lively atmosphere and the inviting scent of its wood-fired oven. Guests frequently praise the high quality of comfort food, with many highlighting the signature French onion soup, wood-fired pizzas, duck wings, and poutine as standout dishes. The service is consistently described as friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making it a favorite spot for both locals and travelers to enjoy a meal or a drink while watching sports. Whether seated on the picturesque patio or within the warm interior, patrons find it to be a reliable and memorable dining experience that keeps them coming back.
We had the poutine, beet salad, & soy duck wings. The poutine was not as good as other places we've tried, but the other dishes were good. Service was great & the street was charming & crowded.
A nice little find in Old Quebec City. Right along a street aligned with colorful umbrellas, this restaurant is one to stop for. We had the gravlax, duck wings & sausage pasta - but the showstopper was the Mac N Cheese. Our two youngest children (12 & 15) raved about it.
I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant & wanted to share my thoughts. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm & inviting. I visited with my baby son, who was in a stroller, & the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They even offered to heat up his baby food, which was a thoughtful gesture & made us feel very welcome as a young family.
As for the food, everything we tried was excellent. I ordered the duck wings in soy sauce, onion soup, & the beet salad. The duck wings were tender & coated in a rich, slightly sweet soy glaze that was full of flavor. The onion soup was hearty & comforting, with a deep broth & a perfectly melted cheese topping. The beet salad was fresh & vibrant, with a good balance of earthy sweetness & acidity. Each dish was well-prepared & presented with care.
Service was friendly, efficient, & attentive without being intrusive. It's not always easy finding places that are both baby-friendly & serve high-quality food, but this restaurant checked all the boxes. I'd definitely return & highly recommend it to others-especially families.

We liked it so well, we went back again. The poutine was tasty & the cheese didn't melt into the fries so that the consistency was good from start to finish. The Duck wings (maple/soy) were amazing. Very good French Onion soup. Excellent service.
Very nice outdoor seating. We got a few appetizers to share-nachos, poutine, beet salad, duck wings. I got the French onion soup which was just as good as everyone else says. Would recommend this spot for a casual dinner with a nice atmosphere
We came around 11:30 & it was pretty empty, so we got a very good table by the wood fire oven. We ordered onion soup, duck wings, Caesar salad, beer of the day, & spiked coffee. The food & drinks were very good, & the service was fast & friendly. By the time we finished eating the restaurant was packed.
We ate at a fine dining restaurant the day after we ate here & we actually liked the food here better . The onion rings were the best I've ver had. Dipped in honey Delicious! Who would have thought. The mac & cheese, duck wings, onion soup, & creme brule were also delicious!
