Since its opening more than 40 years ago, its owner, Nicola Cortina, has never ceased to impress with his culinary creativity, his rigor for an exceptional service and his passion for the best wines in the world. Despite all its qualities, the Michelangelo offers an affordable menu with specialties to satisfy all epicureans. The different dishes go together perfectly, respecting the vision and traditions that have made the establishment famous, even beyond our borders.

Located in the Sainte-Foy sector, near the Pierre-Laporte and Quebec bridges, the establishment was awarded “True Italian restaurant outside Italy” by none other than the President of the Italian Republic.

Déçus de ne pas retrouver les plats que nous aimons tels que: escargots à l'ail, le trio de pâtes, escalopines de veau de lait "parmigiana", dessert au grand marier, etc.
Le prix des vins & de certains plats nous apparaissent exagérés...

Je ne peux manger rien d'épicé. En commandant les calmars, j'ai pris la peine de demander si la sauce était épicée. Non, & c'était le cas. Mais les calmars eux, goûtaient le poivre, je n'ai pu en manger... Jamais eu une telle expérience ailleurs.
Le veau était dur pour moi, les autres n'ont rien dit. Je préfère les pâtes aux gnocchis mais pas très important. Mon tartuffe m'a consolée...
Service attentionné, & sorte de mini salon prévu pour nous, qui avons apprécié.
On dirait que le niveau a baissé, mais mon expérience date, j'habite maintenant depuis longtemps dans les Cantons-de-l'Est alors... j'ai pu idéaliser ce que c'était dans mon temps (années 80-90). Merci quand même. Francine

Définitivement c'est un incontournable pour ceux qui aiment les mets italiens. L' ambiance est extraordinaire & le savoir faire du chef est présent dans chaque plats. Le personnel est attentionné. Très bonne carte des vins.
