The Michelangelo is one of the most acclaimed tables in Quebec. Since its opening more than 40 years ago, its owner, Nicola Cortina, has never ceased to impress with his culinary creativity, his rigor for an exceptional service and his passion for the best wines in the world. Despite all its qualities, the Michelangelo offers an affordable menu with specialties to satisfy all epicureans. The different dishes go together perfectly, respecting the vision and traditions that have made the establishment famous, even beyond our borders.

Located in the Sainte-Foy sector, near the Pierre-Laporte and Quebec bridges, the establishment was awarded “True Italian restaurant outside Italy” by none other than the President of the Italian Republic.

I've been going since I was a kid with my family. Mr Cortina has always treated us like royalty & his staff as well.
I went last week for a solo-supper
I was super well received, the staff was very hospitable, the food was incredible & it reminded me why kept going on ver the decades.
Well done guys!

Le potage aux champignons était simple en apparence mais délicieuse. Les linguini au saumon était aussi très bons.

Restaurant exceptionnel à Québec, qu'on voulait essayer depuis des années & qu'on a enfin découvert avec le menu midi, suivant une intervention du propriétaire dans les médias de Québec en raison des travaux routiers en cours dans le secteur limitant en partie l'accès au restaurant. Il semble y avoir eu une réaction très positive du public, car davantage de personnel avait été appelé pour couvrir le midi, selon l'une des serveuses. Service impeccable, plats très savoureux & prix raisonnables pour la qualité.

Meilleur resto à Québec

Une cave à vin exceptionnelle.

Edit septembre 2025:

J'aime vraiment ce resto. Cependant le menu a trop été réduit selon moi. Je prenais souvent les pâtes dans la meule de parmesan. Ils ne les font plus. Même en cuisine des fois ils n'ont pas le temps.

Je prenais souvent le linguini fruits de mer. Il n'était plus sur le menu lors de ma dernière visite. La lasagne ne semblait plus y être non plus.

Il n'y avait plus de tables d'hôtes lors de mes dernières visites. De petites formules d'été étaient disponibles l'année passée. J'ai demandé & on m'a dit qu'elles ne reviendraient plus.

C'est vraiment triste parce que c'est mon resto préféré à Québec & j'aimais y aller assez régulièrement. Mais ces changements font que j'y vais beaucoup moins.

Si seulement ça pouvait revenir... Je reviendrais!
