Très bonne découverte en me baladant dans le vieux Québec en sortant des sentiers touristiques, la patronne belges fabrique ses frites comme en Belgique ( 2 bains )

Exactly what I expected from a fast food restaurant called Le Snack Bar - the snacks were okay priced (for the tourist area they are in), cooked fast, tasty & came in good portions. Oh & they are one of the few places that are opened until late (4am!) Thanks!
Had the poutine, very good! Server is friendly. Atmosphere is a little rough because of the homeless people wandering around the area & into the restaurant.
Poutine was fresh, hot, & just the right amount of salty. A bit pricey for what you get though. $27ca for a small poutine, bottle of water, & a can of Coors Light.

We stopped by Snack Bar Saint-Jean for a quick bite since it was teatime. We ordered a Double Cheeseburger Bacon, Gyros Poutine & a soda drink. Both the burger & poutine tasted delicious, savoury & flavourful! They were generous with the meats & cheese curds in the poutine. We really enjoyed dining here! Staff were friendly & welcoming too.
Overpriced & underwhelming. I've given this place a shot the few times I've been in the area hoping each time would be better than last. Today's poutine didn't hit the spot (not a fan of the sauce & the fries were too crisp) & the hamburger just didn't taste as i was hoping (the meat was kinda dry & I didn't like the seasoning & the texture). I remember from previous times I wasn't satisfied as well. I think the only reason this place stays busy is because it's only spot open in the area when the clubs are closing.
