What does Zeitoun mean?

Zeitoun means "olive" in Lebanese. Olives and olive oil are key ingredients in Lebanese cuisine. That's why we've made them our emblem!"

Étant déjà une adepte de Zetouine, j'ai fais découvrir la "vraie" nourriture libanaise à ma famille & ça été un grand succès. Même les enfants ont adorés, surtout les frites zaatar. Merci à l'équipe qui est toujours souriante.

I drove here from Montreal to try the Zeitoun poutine & it was by far the biggest disappointment. However, the rest of the food was good. The service was a let down, the staff seemed overwhelmed even though it was empty & they could not explain at first which of their dishes were halal. Overall, I would give this place a second shot because I could tell that the owner put a lot of love & thought into this project. I especially loved the experience of seeing all the souvenirs spread across the tables. The owner Marie-Chrystelle learned most of the recipes from her aunts & grandma. She reached our to me after posting my first review & explained that her staff was new. I would like to see more caring entrepreneurs like her. I would go back just to support her & her message of spreading the Lebanese flavors across Quebec. Thank you Marie-Chrystelle :)

Meilleure poutine que j'ai mangée de ma vie. J'ai pris cela avec un shish taouk & c'était incroyable ! Service impeccable & rapide. On voit que ce sont des aliments de qualité & de la bonne cuisine traditionnelle. Je reviens à 100 %.

Le meilleur shish taouk que j'ai mangé ! Le poulet est tendre & goûteux. La propriétaire du restaurant est accueillante & chaleureuse. L'emplacement est super beau & ça donne envie de revenir. Les frites avec les épices de Zaatar ajoute une touche très originale & c'est super bon. Je conseille à tout le monde d'aller essayer ça, vous allez pas être déçu!
