ARCHIBALD MICROBRASSERIE in Old Quebec City's lower town offers a prime location with a bustling atmosphere & a bonus feature - you can enjoy a view of the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac from your table. The restaurant's setting is definitely a highlight, providing a picturesque backdrop for your visit. The waitstaff is friendly, fluent in English, & incredibly attentive, ensuring a comfortable & enjoyable dining experience. ARCHIBALD MICROBRASSERIE boasts an impressive array of drink selections, making it the perfect place if you're looking to quench your thirst. The beer & Sangria were particularly delightful, delivering a satisfying taste. However, when it comes to the food, it's a different story. The calamari was unfortunately over-fried & lacked flavor. The fried chicken in the poutine was cold & dry, & the fries weren't crispy as one might hope for. The shrimp salad also left much to be desired. In summary, ARCHIBALD MICROBRASSERIE shines when it comes to its location, friendly & attentive service, & its diverse drink offerings. It's a fantastic spot for beverages & soaking in the ambiance, especially with that Fairmont Le Château Frontenac view. However, if you're primarily there for a memorable dining experience, you might want to explore other options in the area for your meal.

De la très bonne bière, de la très bonne bouffe, un super service, que demander de plus ?
On a prix les oignons frits, incroyablement bons ! & la poutine, complètement folle ! N’hésitez pas, la salle en intérieur est très sympa, ambiance chalet.

Nous étions 4 adultes & 3 enfants. La soupe à l'oignon est vraiment très bonne tout comme la joue de boeuf. Le tartare est très bon également. Nous avons également pris une poutine. Honnêtement, les frites ne sont pas vraiment bonne & la recette devrait être revue. La poutine manquait de sauce & de fromage. C'est la seule assiette qui ne valait pas la peine pour le prix.
Nous avons eu un excellent service & avons beaucoup apprécié le moment.
