Food- incredible. I had the strawberry French toast with the maple ham eggs Benedict. I don't think I'll be able to go back to normal eggs Benedict.
Service- amazing. My server helped me choose between all the amazing options. He gave his honest feedback & was very friendly.
Worth the visit for breakfast or brunch!
It was our second time; first time was a nice surprise as they found us a place without reservation, & we fell in love with the Canadian environment. We wanted our son to experience it & book a second visit. Unfortunately, this time, the brunch was served cold. Sorry, but eggs Benedict or any egg served cold are not really acceptable. Our 3 orders were classical brunches, & I'm sure they would have been amazing if served properly… Hope no one gets bad luck like us, they are sure a great place to go.
This was on New Years day so clearly the place was packed. The host still managed to get my wife & I a table which I largely appreciated, but unfortunately that's where things took a negative turn.
We didn't wait long to order but then had to wait around 45 minutes for our food. The place was obviously understaffed especially considering the day it was. When our plates arrived, 2 simple eggs & sides plates, we were missing cutlery, salt, & napkins. Once we got those we finally got to dig in, only for my wife to notice there were no potatoes at all on my plate, & hers were few & burnt. We were so hungry at that point we just let it be & ate. To be fair, the food itself, aside from the potatoes, were good. One last note that bothered me is my fruit was only orange slices, no melon at all. Not the end of the world but again, it showed how little effort went into preparing our plates.
All in all, not a horrible experience but certainly not great. We will not return, especially with so many other close by options.
Absolutely the best eggs Benedict-pulled ham
Very nice atmosphere, delightful servers, fast speedy service! Will definitely recommend to friends travelling to Quebec City!
I had the Steak & Eggs breakfast, & was blown away. The food was amazing. The seasoned potatoes are the best I've had. The service was outstanding, but lacking in numbers.
It looked like a fun place to have brunch. The meals being served to others looked great. We got there at 10:30, ordered shortly after & did not get our meal until 11:25. I ordered the avocado bagel with fried eggs on top & my husband ordered the grilled cheese. These were both listed as specialties. My meal was cold…not cool, cold. My husband's was just not to his taste. We were very disappointed.
