WoW! J'ai essayé le smash gaufré du burger week, tout simplement décadent :) frites croustillantes, salade de choux très fraîche, burger savoureux… à déguster une étape à la fois! Service très attentionné, je me suis présentée sans réservation à l'heure de pointe & on m'a très bien accueillie & placée à une table de choix. J'y retourne très bientôt pour une poutine.. celles de mes voisins de table avaient l'air trop bonnes. Miam.

Although the restaurant was not full, at first they did not want to seat us, because they did not have enough service-staff, but then we got Lucky…

Went for lunch with a reservation, wait staff was nice though service was slow. The poutine was phenomenal but the lasagna may have been the single most visually disappointing order I have ever seen from a restaurant. On the menu it is served in what looks like a small cast iron skillet & looks to stand nearly 8 inches tall. In person it is served on a standard plate & was the thinnest lasagna I have ever seen, I honestly doubt it was even an inch high & it looked to be just three pieces of pasta with a little bit of cheese/sauce/other fillings

Lots of families & friend groups came to enjoy a meal au Petit Chalet in the evening. Seating was primarily outdoors. The indoors was very nicely decorated & cozy, emulating a ski chalet atmosphere.

The washrooms were not well maintained. Soap & paper towels in the dispensers had run out. I brought this to the attention of a staff during my first visit to their washroom, & I requested a refill. He acknowledged my request- but later when I returned to use the washroom, there was still no soap nor paper towels.

My group waited for our orders for over an hour. It was not particularly busy. When I asked a staff around the hour mark after waiting, he told me he would look into it & we never heard from him again.

Our waitress was very kind & helpful. However, no one came to refill our waters until we asked. Twice. There was no food & no water for most of our time at the restaurant.

The calamari & warm brie appies were good. The brie was especially well garnished with the perfect notes of fruity & savoury. The calamari was also good- they were fried to a perfect crisp & not drenched in oil.

I ordered the crispy chicken poutine with thai sauce & was quite disappointed. The fries were incredibly soggy from when the dish came out. The chicken was crisped well & the thai sauce worked well with the chicken, but it did not work well with the gravy. There were very few cheese curds. Overall, my main dish experience was under par.
